Leading the Way

E&A: Built on a Legacy, Driven by Innovation

In 1966, gas was 32 cents a gallon, color TVs were the latest trend, and in Omaha, Leon Black and Don Elliott launched what would become E&A Consulting Group, Inc.—then known as Elliott and Black.

Serving both private and public clients, the company provided civil engineering, land surveying, construction administration, and residential SID maintenance. Early projects included the Roanoke residential SID and work for the Nebraska Department of Roads and Metropolitan Utilities District.

Like those early televisions, E&A has grown far beyond its original vision. In 1998, we expanded to Lincoln, strengthening our ability to serve clients across the region.

Now, 60 years later, we continue to provide civil engineering and surveying services—along with many others—to better serve our clients. Our commitment to innovative solutions remains strong, and we look forward to evolving alongside our clients for decades to come.
