Do not start on your project before the opening ceremony. We reserve the right to DQ anyone who we suspect breaks this rule. 

You may participate in one of the hackathon divisions as well as the ideathon at the same time, but you can only win prizes for your best scoring result. This is so more people can win rewards and makes it more fair. 

You cannot participate in both beginner and advanced hackathon. Being an advanced participant and choosing to do the beginner division will likely result in a DQ. 

Dates

The hackathon will be running from Thursday, August 3rd, through Monday, August 7th.

Eligibility

• Middle school students
• High school students
• College students
• Any country/nationality

Team Size

Participants may work individually or in teams of up to 4 people for both the hackathon and ideathon.
