The DRONES360 project aims to promote digital transformation, innovation, and attractiveness within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. The focus is on enhancing the readiness, adaptability, and confidence of VET trainers to integrate drone and XR technologies in the green sector. By equipping students with new transversal skills, the project seeks to better align their competencies with labor market demands and prepare a workforce capable of addressing societal challenges, such as climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Target Groups
Primary
- VET Trainers (i-VET and c-VET) with relevant expertise in the fields of engineering, digital, agriculture etc., or any other professional, who will benefit by attending the validated professional development course, designed as per the ECVET principles and assessed via the Micro-Credentials methodology.
- VET Students (i-VET or c-VET) from various sectors who will benefit by acquiring drone-coding and piloting skills for further employment options and will be empowered with new skills and competences as per the DRONE360 Competence Framework to be developed.
Secondary
VET Institutions and Labour Market (Green and Digital Industries) to enhance their current practices, and adapt to the needs of the digital transformation and the use of emerging technologies such as drones and VR
