Dramatic Results uses hands-on art programs to explore STEM subjects that prepare learners to be empathetic, resilient, and critical thinkers. Our programs follow innovative methodologies like Design Thinking and Social-Emotional Learning to fuel collaboration and creativity.
Dramatic Results prioritizes delivering arts education programs to historically excluded K-8th grade students at Title I public schools. By focusing on students of the global majority, we ensure that our programs are accessible to those who stand to benefit the most, promoting equity and inclusion in education.
Here are a few facts that distinguish Dramatic Results’ arts-integrated programs:
• All programs are evidence-based through evaluation.
• We have been delivering award-winning arts-integrated programs since 1992.
• All art programs are team-taught, using Teaching Artists or Pre-Service Teachers, to ensure individual support for students.
All of the above! We offer art programs in-class, after-school, on Saturdays, and special summer sessions, tailored to accommodate the settings and schedules needed by each district or school. We also provide programming for one-time school events like STEAM festivals and science nights.
Dramatic Results can deliver programs to just one school or district-wide.
Saturday School programs are typically held over 8-10 Saturdays in 1-3 hour increments. In-class programs typically consist of a 10-24 week residency, in which our teaching artists come to the school for an hour each week. Other arrangements are also possible, such as assemblies, based on the needs of each district or school.
We can tailor our program to meet your budget and needs. Additionally, we have funding available for Title I schools to offset some of the costs of our programs. Connect with Ryan Nuckolls-Rosa to discuss the options available at (562) 595-4600, ryan@ashleyn9.sg-host.com, or contact us here.
Every program includes:
NOTE: Our programs can either be stand-alone or include professional development/in-class coaching in arts integration for classroom teachers.
We serve students in:
We also have a new STEAM program for low-income GATE students in Long Beach which can be replicated in part or full in your district. Click here to learn more.
All of our programs foster students’ intrinsic desire to learn and develop knowledge and skills related to school, career, and life success in the 21st century, including creativity, critical thinking, persistence, and the ability to collaborate.
Whether making reed baskets to learn measurement, geometry, and algebraic formulas; creating origami/pop-up books to explore physics, industrial design, and architecture; or building squishy circuits to explore electricity, we facilitate student success through an arts-based approach to learning that results in measurable improvements in students’ academic performance.
All programs:
We partner with districts and schools to create a learning experience that fully supports your needs and goals. We meet with you and your designated team members before starting each program to learn about your needs and goals. We then customize our programming to match your school’s culture and preferences.
