Our programs are developed to address the multifaceted nature of learning by creating an environment where students feel valued and heard. Our teaching staff utilizes social and emotional learning (SEL) techniques to cultivate a supportive learning environment that develops strong communication skills and emotional well-being.
Our curriculum is rooted in the belief that trauma-informed and culturally inclusive teaching practices have a greater potential of reaching diverse learners who may not otherwise have traditional academic success. The opportunity for students to have adults respect their autonomy and boundaries while encouraging creative exploration in a safe environment significantly impacts their social-emotional and learning stills, an essential part of bridging the opportunity gap in education.
