The Optimization Settings section is designed to reduce media file sizes and keep your WordPress database lean for better performance and faster loading times.
🖼️ Image Compression
Optimize the size of uploaded images without significantly affecting quality.
- Enable compression
Starts the media compression process for all new uploads. - Back up all original images
Stores a copy of the original (uncompressed) images before compressing. Useful if you want the option to revert. - Compression level
Choose the desired compression level:- Higher compression = more space saved.
- Lower compression = better image quality.
- Overwrite compression level
Allows applying a custom compression level to already compressed images. - Maximum image width
Resize large images to the specified maximum width during upload (e.g., 2560px) to improve loading performance and reduce file size.

WebP Images
Enable and manage WebP image format conversion, a lightweight and modern image format.
- Enable WebP conversion
Converts supported image formats to WebP automatically upon upload.- WebP offers smaller file sizes with near-lossless quality.
- Supported by most modern browsers.
- Back up all original images
Keeps the original non-WebP images stored separately. - Overwrite WebP files
Replaces existing WebP versions each time the original image is updated.

🧹 Database Optimization
Automatically clean up your WordPress database weekly to keep it small, fast, and efficient.
- Enable optimization
Starts scheduled database cleanup to remove unnecessary data. - Post & Page Cleanup Options:
- Delete all automatically created post/page drafts.
- Delete all post and page revisions.
- Delete all posts/pages in the Trash.
- Comments Cleanup:
- Delete all comments marked as Spam.
- Delete all comments in Trash.
- Transients Cleanup:
- Delete all expired transients (temporary data used by plugins/themes).

💾 Save Settings
After configuring the above options, click the Save Settings button to apply your changes and enable the optimization processes.
