Devils and Demons

Devils and Demons is a turn-based strategy/role-play combo where players control the latest heroes from the Order of the Light, who have to defend the shadowlands from demon attacks.

The game system in Devils and Demons is reminiscent of titles of the calibre of The Battle for Wesnoth. Each hero is controlled by a player who can make two moves per turn: they can either move or attack. In other words, you can move twice, attack twice, or move once and attack once in the same turn. In addition, each character has their own special powers.

The campaign mode in Devils and Demons takes you through a bunch of different settings where you can control different characters. The game's first level, for example, lets you to control three heroes from the Order of the Light as they try to close a dark portal, while the second level puts you in control of the order's clergy.

The visuals in Devils and Demons are spectacular, with highly detailed, hand-drawn settings and equally brilliant character designs. The only problem is that some of the animations are a bit rough.

Devils and Demons is a very good strategy and role-play game. The game system is especially great for lovers of the genre, but it's also accessible enough for anyone to enjoy.
