Maneater is, in the words of its developers, a ShaRkPG (a play on the words "Shark" and "RPG", in case that wasn't clear) set in an open world where you can swim with total freedom and play as a shark. You start out as a shark pup and will have to survive in a harsh and merciless ecosystem until you manage to grow and become more lethal.

It's important to be aware that the full version of this Android port of Maneater is not free. This version is essentially a demo that allows you to experience the early stages of the full game. If you want to continue playing after that, you will need to unlock the full version from within the app itself. Only then will you be able to keep playing and overseeing your shark's development.

Controls perfectly adapted to touch screens

The controls in Maneater are perfectly adapted to touch screens. On the left side of the screen is where you will find the virtual movement stick, and on the right is where all the action buttons are. These buttons allow you to jump, attack, and activate special abilities. Keep in mind that as you grow larger and improve, you will also gain new skills and attacks that allow you to face increasingly dangerous enemies.

Explore a dangerous open world

Although Maneater's main story features a series of missions to advance in the game, you always have absolute freedom when moving through this enormous open world. You can explore everything from the depths of the ocean where you hunt fish and other sea creatures to beaches full of tourists and other unsuspecting humans. Of course, as you progress in the adventure, things will become more difficult and you will even have to face enemies armed with weapons.
