The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
Exodus 20:1-17. Here is the verse:
And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
1.0 You shall have no other gods before me.
2.0) You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
3.0) You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4.0) Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
. 5.0) Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
6.0) You shall not murder.
7.0) You shall not commit adultery.
8.0) You shall not steal.
9.0) You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10.0) You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
Pledge of Allegiance
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.

Over the weekend I watched most of the news programs about the candidates. The moderators went back and forth with his/her guests discussing the issues and how each candidate handled themselves. There are those among us in this nation that “talk the talk; “but, they do not “walk the walk.” They have no concept of real freedom and they probably never will. Sadly, in their arrogance, they assume they know better than anyone else what is best for our nation and the nations of the world. I feel sorry for them. They do not know what they are missing. They have no comprehension of real freedom.
Their lives are filled with mental illusions or perhaps delusions is a better word. They suffer from over indulgence of their own self-importance. They think they are smarter, wiser than the rest of us. They think only they are capable of saving us from ourselves.They think they have special aptitudes that give them special insight. As the “9/11 Tenth Anniversary Celebration” approaches, the event is clouded in controversy. Mayor Bloomberg, in his infinite wisdom, has decided that there is no room to accommodate the first responders, the New York Fire Department (FDNY), the New York Police Department (NYPD, and the the Emergency Medical Services Officers {EMS Officers).” Nor will he have any Religious Leaders to deliver a prayer.
