Desktop Sidebar

Desktop Sidebar is a sidebar that provides you with access to information available in your PC and Internet.
Through this tool you can access your Personal Photo Gallery, keep an eye on your appointments, keep track of your Music Library, write down notes as well as having access to Breaking News, Instant Web Searches and Weather Information. There are lots of other things to add.

You can choose what panels to dock to the edge of the screen or where you want them, and you will have that information at hand. You can even apply pre-made skins, or make your own.

Desktop Sidebar is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003 and Vista.

The program can be run in 31 different languages.

By default, the sidebar will show the date and time, the weather information for your location (actual and forecast), a slideshow with your images, the stock market information, your systems statistics (CPU, Disk and Memory Usage, Swap Files, Traffic, the aplications running), the Newsroom (with links to newspapers), access to check your mails, your Messenger or your CD to play music.
