DDBAC

DDBAC by DataDesign is a Windows component suite that implements Germany’s FinTS/HBCI online banking standard. It provides the secure communication layer that many personal finance and accounting applications use to connect to banks, retrieve account information, and submit payment orders. The package includes a centralized “Homebanking Contacts” management tool so multiple desktop apps can share the same bank profiles and authentication settings. DDBAC handles protocol details, encryption, and two-factor authentication (TAN procedures), letting developers and users focus on the tasks at hand rather than on connectivity.
