DC Budget

Public spending through the budget is the foundation of a strong economy and a powerful tool for addressing DC’s longstanding racial inequities. Each fiscal year, the mayor and DC Council decide how to raise and allocate the District’s resources through the budget, with input from residents about what is important to them. The budget should reflect the needs and values of DC residents and raises the question: What kind of DC do you want to live in?
