The DC Fiscal Policy Institute (DCFPI) confronts structural racism and advances economic justice, turning data into action and policy into power.

A cornerstone of local research and analysis for 25 years, DCFPI rejects austerity full stop and champions progressive budget and tax policy as the pathway for a more equal, fair, and free District. ​​

Guided by the leadership of Black and brown communities, we work alongside grassroots organizers to shape a future of shared abundance.
