Dear P___, in the event we make a deal with the property owners, and not only a ‘deal’, but perchance a deal with them–for possible mutual benefit–outside of the box creatively as it were, you and I agreed it might be good for R___ to have a bit of bio on me.

You did say short bio, but I am just not sure–given the range of experiences over fifty+ years of working, that that is easily even possible, but leaves me reluctant to give any hint of self aggrandizement. Just the facts,
I will try to give a simple version, then if so inclined he or others at C___ R___R___ can go deeper. Without further ado:

Since I started drawing at age six months old, it happened that by age ten I was designing buildings, and not just stick drawings, but even full on framing and grading, then entire cities.
Back in the day, when I went to architecture school, at that time when The Copper Union was even harder to get into than Harvard or MIT, the US was in deep recession, and jobs were near impossible to find at graduation, I first found myself as an assistant to a Japanese Architect, when it seemed Japan Inc was ready to take over the world, so taught myself to write the language decently, then went on to live in a Korean Buddhist Temple, then came back to America, finding myself among all things in the deep south, then cut my teeth in project management and construction contract administration.
Spent three years on a complex and difficult state of the art physics lab for Wake Forest as a lead architect. Talk about an experience, but got my real chops that time.
In the serendipitous odd way of life, by that time in Seattle, I met a man who managed 10% of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allan’s stock portfolio, only to find myself seven years latter working at a Senior VP level managing many millions at Morgan focusing on fee based management.
I learned some hard lessons about integrity and correctness, and thereafter, near forced to work at–of all things–Lowes for eight years, even becoming a forklift trainer, working in lumber, millwork, flooring, then tools–cashiering, loading, mopping floors, toilets, all of it. Thus my real education, a street MBA. Then ran a Cloud Company back east, while taking care of my old mother, then sales management in Bellevue, for a Chinese turnaround company, in imports and ocean freight forwarding. That one was like the wild west.
Thereafter I developed-as a paid role. after learing html and wordpress–a comprehensive site on Climate Change for a leading popular educator-scientist-engineer, ultimely ranked tops in world by relevance. Had paid roles by others, who sought out my proven ability, to establish, build, then refine an electronic audience. Got to know most the players, the English speaking world. Think red and blue all at once, in politics, but on climate. Learned to swim without creating total polarity.
So by now, three years with my wife Marygertrude (goes by Mary), and my now on social security/medicaid, we seek to prepare our future, since the man in her care of now twelve or more years, will loose his home here in Lake Stevens, since once his father dies, the family will sell the house. We do live in home care, for room and board and live simply.
We cannot know when her stint will end, or if this will happen in one, three, or six years, since while he is of good health but with dementia. Mary once ran nursing homes, so is one plenty mentally strong person, and never gives up. Resourceful and resilient.
We want land, near the national forest, but a. need to be able to see it first, hopefully through your video once long gravel road is cleared or cut, you said as intense summer heat lets off, and start out with a dry cabin, then a wood stove for visits, insulation and drywall, fencing for our dogs; then b. second as we transition, electric, water tank, and waste.
We are quiet and mind our own business. We never make trouble. Being a relatively new marriage, I have had to adjust my extreme openness to her sense of vehement privacy, and learned to not mix it up with others, even when all seems simple, so we will bring uncomplicated peace with us.
Added to that, mark my words, that I know what it is, to honor an agreement, and have the best references as to my honesty, capability and character, including through Senator McCains family, and vetted by the top levels of the State Department for intel, but never came to terms, probably due to my age. Then the four time US Chess Champion and author of seventeen books, my sport.
I would love to see a sample or example of your owner financed contract when you can, and plan to make an offer, Our house in Buffalo, through a long and intricate probate, is finally set for closing in fifteen days, on the 26th and I plan to prepare our offer.
It is unclear who is responsible for the road. When and if there, I can lend a hand with a shovel or pay for plowing if we are there alone, but this must be made clear, since as we all know, life can be one big surprise if not shock and am a careful planner by nature, I can assure you.
Thank you Pam for your consummate professionalism and ___ D___ Century21. You clearly have a lot of class and have been and are the best.
Kind regards, dk

I once casually dated a wonderful woman once named J, who told me how she gave up her number one client, who generated over 60% of ALL her fees for public accounting, because she did NOT agree with how they wanted their accounting done. Talk about brass. Yet she could no longer accept things as they were, and said, let the chips fall where they may. We were not a match, and friendship was the clear outcome.
