Database Designer is a free and open source program that allows you to design databases, using an intuitive graphical interface, thanks to which you can easily edit content, add tags, and create fields. It is the perfect software for anyone looking for a straightforward and simple solution to create and manage databases.

Create a local or remote database

The first thing you will be able to do when you open Database Designer is choose the type of database you want to create. You can create a local database with SQLite, and you will only need to enter the name of the database in order to do so. This database will, of course, be stored on your hard disk, in the same folder where you unzipped the program. The other option is to manage a remote database, which you can do with MySQL. In this case, as you may expect, you will have to enter more information: address, table name, user name, password.

Edit your database with ease

Once you have created your database, editing it is easy. All you have to do is double-click on any of the items you see in the column on the left, and you will be able to add them to your database. This way you can easily add images, fields, labels or checkboxes. Once you have finished the visual design, simply switch from Edit Mode to Browse Mode to be able to add all the data you want to your database. And that's it. Managing a local database with Database Designer is that easy.

The most convenient way to manage a database

Download Database Designer if you need to manage a database (especially a local one) and want a powerful, comfortable and easy to use tool that does not require a great deal of processing power. Thanks to this software you can manage a database without the need for any advanced knowledge. The tutorial, which is included in PDF format with the software, is only three pages long.
