Time sure does fly! Blink and you miss it. But at the same time, has anything really changed? Our souls don't change. Who we are, we are forever.
I still recognize myself in these old posts that I am skimming and reading. So emotional. So young. Still learning. Still growing.
It's funny... I am still on the dating apps, and I see guys in their 30s now and think of how young they are. They still have a lot of life to live and learn.
Back when we were 30, we thought we were adults. Ha! We are all just winging it. None of us knows what we are doing. We are all just taking it one day, one breath, at a time.
So, let's see — what can I say to get you up to date on who I am and where I am at this moment?
- In 2018, after 18 years with Norton/Symantec I was laid off along with a bunch of my friends and co-workers.
- So I finished and published my book "Rewrite the Stars". I then did some readings and performances around Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Silverlake, in support of the book. (My favorite is a video I have of myself reading it naked in the Anza-Borrego desert, atop a hill where an important scene in the book takes place.)
- Towards the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020 I dated a chef named Brian. He was a good guy and his cooking was delicious. But due to the stress of life during Covid, we didn't last.
