We encourage you to contact us before sending samples—especially if you’re unsure which tests are needed or how many seeds to send. Our team can help determine the most efficient approach based on your crop, the target pathogens, and testing goals. We can also advise on proper sampling and labeling methods.

Prepare & Ship Your Seed Samples
Send untreated seeds whenever possible, and be sure to draw a representative sample from your seed lot. Quantities will vary depending on the tests requested—some tests may allow for the same seeds to be used across multiple analyses.

• Securely package the seeds and clearly label each sample.
• Please include a completed Sample Submission Form as your packing slip, and also email a copy to team@csplabs.com.
• Ship via express mail.
• International customers: include a Phytosanitary Certificate, or request our Red/White USDA Labels and instructions to simplify shipping.

For certain tests like Bacterial Fruit Blotch grow-out, we ask for at least 10% more than the required seed quantity to compensate for potential low germination.
