The Association of Old Crows believes it is necessary to engage, educate, and coordinate with leaders throughout government, industry, and academia in support of the policies, programs, and ideas that advance EW and EMSO capabilities and strengthen our global industrial base.
Over the years, AOC has been active engaging the US Congress, the Department of Defense, and relevant federal agencies on issues affecting our community. We have built strong relationships with leaders throughout government, advanced EW-related programs and budgets, and influenced legislation and policy development in support of our growing mission.

Explore the evolution of electromagnetic spectrum operations. This podcast takes you on a journey through time and around the world to meet the inventors, the battles, and the technology that has not only shaped military operations – how we fight – but also how we live. The History of Crows covers some of the most important people, discoveries, and events that shaped what we know today as EMSO. Episodes that take you deeper into our history will be added periodically.
From the Crows' Nest
The go-to podcast for navigating the electromagnetic spectrum. This regularly scheduled podcast features interviews, analysis, and discussions covering leading issues of the day related to electromagnetic spectrum operations. Host Ken Miller, AOC's Director of Advocacy and Outreach, and his guests explore current events and news from around the world, US Congress and the annual defense budget, and military news from the US and allied countries, all while getting closer to AOC events and engaging in policy discussions that impact our community.
CSA Resources
The Association of Old Crows (AOC) has proposed the creation of a Joint EMSO Combat Support Agency (JEMSO CSA) for consideration in the FY2027 National Defense Authorization Act. The proposal envisions a unified structure, modeled after existing agencies such as DISA and DTRA, that would centralize EMSO policy, coordination, and training across military services.
