Janie tried not to let her nerves show.  She was actually doing something to help someone, which- well, at home she would have probably been stuck working in the kitchen, or running off into the forest somewhere.  The young time traveler desperately wanted to find someone that was missing, or a clue even.  Something to give these people peace of mind.  She waited, assuming Marco would lead since he seemed older somehow.

Even though she wanted to take charge, she knew that he probably had a better idea of what was going on.  Tracking people and animals was something that she could do.

"How do you know how to fly?"  she blurted out, even though she tried her hardest to stay focused on the mission.

Harry looked over the map. He made a couple of notes and made sure that he had everybody's number before he looked at Amy.

"I'm Harry, by the way. I guess if we're going to be searching the castle we should get to know each other." He offered his hand.

Barty scratched at his left arm as he walked away from his cottage. He decided to go looking for Cia. They were supposed to have another potions lesson and she was late. And he couldn't reach her on the phone things that they had.

"Stupid muggle devices never work right." He muttered to himself as he looked around. Barty got to Cia's cottage and knocked on the door. He looked around and it appeared that the cottage was abandoned. Barty pulled out his wand and placed it flat on the palm of his hand. He concentrated on Cia and then closed his eyes. "Point me." He said softly. The wand started to turn and then stopped, pointing off to the left.

Barty followed the way the wand was pointing, trying to figure out why the girl would be wandering deeper into the forest when she was supposed to be on her way to Barty's cottage. Maybe she had decided to collect some more potion ingredients before class. There were several in the area that were easy to collect. He smiled a little at her initiative, then started looking around as the wand indicated he was close. He blinked as he looked around and saw nothing but trees. Barty kept looking and stopped when he saw something a few steps ahead of him.

He knelt down beside what he recognized to be the shirt Cia was wearing the last time he'd seen her. It was tangled at the bottom of a small bush and when he picked it up, the cloth felt wet. Barty put his wand away and shifted the cloth from one hand to the other, noticing the blood left behind. He stood back up and turned around in a circle.

"CIA?!" His voice shook a bit as he called out her name. In the short time that they'd known each other he'd grown to like her. "CIA?!" Barty pulled his wand out again and whispered "Point me" once more. The wand simple spun in circles in his hand before stopping and pointing at the cloth he was already holding. Even magic couldn't locate the girl. He started to tremble a bit as he thought about what could have happened to her.

"Bloody miserable unicorns...." With the cloth still in his hand, he wandered in the direction of Remus' cabin.

Mike threw the bird to the helicopter pilot who had just dropped him, tossed a phone at him and then taken off. He looked around a little confused but figured maybe this was some eccentric network executive's summer home or something along those lines. He shook his head and adjusted his bag on his shoulder.

He decided to give him sister a call and let her know that he'd arrived okay. He knew that she'd be worried. Mike took out his phone and dialed her number, dropping it when he only got a high pitched squeal. Something was definitely wrong. He picked it up and saw that there was no service and sighed, putting it back in his pocket. He was suddenly wishing he'd brought his laptop so he could email her when he got the chance. Place like this had to have Internet access. He decided the best thing to do was head to the castle and see what was going on.

She gasped, trembling where she sat on the bench, her body contracting in pain, a pressure building down below. She threw her head back and cried, one hand curling on the stone edge of the bench, not feeling how the delicate skin of her fingers broke on the rough stone as she cried out. Another wave of pain hit her, causing her to sob in fright and pain.

She had not really thought of anything at all. She had been taking her daily walk in the rose garden when suddenly she had felt water run down her legs. She had not been prepared, and horror had struck her by the sight, making her stagger.

When the first cramp had hit her, she had tried to head towards the castle, but her body felt more and more heavy in protest, and the contractions were strong and painful, so in the end she had to sit down by one of the benches, breathing hard to keep from fainting. Her hand had shaking taking out the phone in her pouch, and dialed the universal number and left her plea for help. Then the phone was dropped and forgotten as she again cried out.

Relative Date: The day after Harry's transmission

Harry wanted to make sure that he had everything for this meeting of the minds. He'd managed to find a map of the area in the library, as well as a dry erase board in one of the storage closets. He wasn't expecting to find that. He rolled the dry erase board over closer to an area with a table and a large number of chairs. He wasn't sure how many people would show up but he was certainly hoping for more than one or two.

Harry started to write the information he had on the board, big enough that anyone could see. He wasn't really a natural leader. He usually just followed Perry around and did what he was told. This was important to him, though. He wanted to find the people for Morgana. He wasn't sure why it was so important to him to help her, but it really was. As soon as he had everything written out he stood back and looked at the board. Perfect He smiled and then waited for people to show up.

Relative Date: Currently, some weeks after his tortured release by Isaack.
Status: OPEN

Dorian had never fought an addiction before. He had always yielded to them. Because that's what Harry said to do. That the only way to get rid of temptation was to yield to it. So he had rising rising and falling tides of addictions and obsessions.

But he could not go back to Issack. Plagued now by anxiety and the phantom memory pains, he was too afraid to go back for the blood he needed. So he had begun again to move restlessly from his room to the library, trailing an eternal wreath of blue, opiated cigarette smoke and leaving his gin tumblers all over. Unable (he imagined) to die of old age, he wondered if he would read every book on the dusty shelves in the course of his captivity. Once this occurred to him, he vaguely thought about drowning himself in the moat.

He'd taken to completely avoiding Basil, knowing the painter would ask questions about him, about how sick he was. And he just couldn't explain. And Basil seemed taken enough with his own occupations and bad dreams.

So once again Dorian sat down on the sofa in the library with his bottle of gin and his case of cigarettes, not even bothering to brush his hair or put on shoes, and curled up to read.

Time Period: Modern

Relative Date: Four days after JS' arrival

JS decided that he needed to take a walk and clear his thread. There was a lot going on in this place that was so amazingly weird and he was having a hard time wrapping his head around it. He thought that perhaps some fresh air would help him clear his head. He made sure that he had his wand in his pocket before he headed out of the cabin.

He ran his fingers through his hair as he walked slowly through the forest, looking at the scenery. It was a pretty nice place, on the surface. The trees were beautiful and it wasn't too hot or too cold. He just kept walking, not really paying attention to where he was going. If he got lost, he could always find his way back home. Right now he wanted to just wander and see what he could figure out.

Relative Date: A few weeks after their 'trip'.

The first thing Jack noticed that was odd in the morning was that he woke up. Jack never awoke; he simply rolled over and was awake. Jack drifted in and out of consciousness, sleeping a few hours every few days. The only reason he went to bed was because Ianto liked curling up with him at night (and there was always sex involved too now). They did have a lot of lost time to make up for after all.

This morning, however, this was different. Jack woke up, shaking, unable to shake the dream he had. It was so real that he was beginning to think that he had lived it without living it. It was a series of images assaulting him: a smoke filled tank, gas, Ianto's final moments in his arms, an old pub, final goodbyes...

It made no sense, but all Jack knew was that he woke up with chills. He rolled over in bed, grunting softly when Ianto wasn't beside him. He sat up quickly, feeling a cold sweat running down his bare spine. The covers pooled around his waist as Jack felt Ianto's side of the bed.

Cold.

"Ianto?" He called out, voice hoarse. "Ianto...? Where... where are you?"

He wouldn't lie: he was shaken as hell.

Time Period: Modern
Location: Castle Grounds, at the landing pad.
Relative Date: Prongs' arrival.
Status: Closed

James was hidden under his invisibility cloak, clinging to the side of the flying thing as it hovered over darkness. Lily couldn't have sent that ticket to him, he thought, it was some trick of Snape's so he could steal Lily away from him by making him look like a fool. James wobbled on his feet as the contraption thudded on the ground finally, somewhere he couldn't see where he was. The door flew open and he leapt out, grasping at his cloak and wand tightly as he landed on the sodden wet grass. "Bloody Snape... gonna hex the git." he growled as he pulled off his cloak. James looked up and watched the black machine fly away into the night, though he wouldn't get back on that thing if Lily herself was on there, enticing him back.

It was so dark outside, but the dawn was breaking over some building in the distance he could see. It looked a little like a smaller - much smaller - version of Hogwarts and he wondered if he was still in Scotland. James pulled out his wand into his open palm, concentrating on the vision of Hogwarts and muttered, "Point me!" His eyes widened as the wand spun round and round in his hand, emitting golden and red sparks from the tip. "Stop, stop!" he said frantically. No wand had ever had that affect when it came to a simple locator spell. What the hell was making it go around like a catherine wheel?

Looking around, noting the darkness, he took his wand and said 'Lumos." The tip shone pale icy blue and James groaned as he saw where he was. It was obvious. He was nowhere.

Characters: James Potter II, Cia Delacosta, Sirius Black (maybe)
Rating: PG-13 (Cia's Mouth lol)
Time Period: Modern
Location: landing pad and castle grounds
Relative Date: James’ arrival.
Status: Closed.

James was actually enjoying the ride in what he had learned was called a helicopter. He laughed quietly as he looked at the ticket. Kelihopper was something he would laugh about for a long time. This was one he’d have to point out to his grandfather, even though he usually didn’t correct him. He watched as the scenery went by under them and thought that it felt a bit like flying on a broom, but without the wind whipping at his hair and clothes.

He didn’t think anything of being dropped at a castle. He’d spent a lot of time around castles growing up. His father would take him and his siblings on historical journeys throughout the country as often as he could and James really loved it, even though he pretended not to. Seeing another castle in front of him didn’t seem strange at all. Although he wondered why his father had never brought him to this particular castle before. He also wondered why his grandfather wasn’t there to meet him. Maybe he was inside the castle.

Since this was an investigation of a muggle mode of transportation, James decided to walk to the castle, rather than apparate. He wasn’t the best at that particular wizarding skill anyway. Once he’d tried to apparate from the front yard at his house to the back yard and had ended up in the middle of his grandmother’s kitchen. How he’d managed that, they still don’t know but he tried to avoid apparating as much as possible.

He was a little surprised, though, that he couldn’t find Arthur anywhere. Perhaps, while waiting for him, his grandfather had simply wandered off to look around. When he got like that, excited about his surroundings, Arthur could wander off anywhere and it looked like a big property. When he was still a few yards from the castle, James decided to just sit and wait for his grandfather to come back, but he was impatient and wouldn’t wait long. He pulled out his wand and smiled a bit.

“Expecto Patronum!” He’d inherited many things from his father, including the form of his patronus charm. In short order, the glowing blue stag appeared before him. He sent it off with a message to Arthur that he was there and waiting. James looked up at the bright blue sky and smiled a bit, then sat down in the grass right where he was. He opened up the sack lunch he had with him and started munching on some of the carrot sticks while he waited.

Characters: Barty Crouch Jr, Cia Delacosta
Rating: PG-13 (because of possible language)
Time Period: Modern
Location: Tomorrow
Relative Date: The day of Cia's transmission to Barty
Status: Closed.

As soon as Barty got Cia's last reply, he started to get his cabin straightened up a bit. He had things lying around that a first year shouldn't be messing with. He had an idea of what he was going to do to teach her. He tried to remember what order they'd done things in when he was a first year. Of course there was a lot of essay writing. He hated reading them so he certainly wasn't going to assign them for her to write. Although he may have her do some homework that wouldn't make Sirius or Remus too upset.

Barty made sure there were several empty jars and vials ready and he went into his bedroom, running a comb quickly through his hair. He needed to look like a professor to make an impression. He wasn't going to change his clothes, though, so the jumper and slacks would have to do. He pulled two chairs over near the cauldron and had the beginning potions book laying next to the empty jars. He'd picked it up from the library as soon as Sirius suggested he teach Cia how to make potions. He was certainly thankful that the library had every book he could think of. The whole grounds were a bit like the room of requirement.

Once everything was set up, Barty sat down in the chair and waited. He scratched idly at his left forearm. It had been itching mildly the last day or so, but he didn't think it was anything important.

Time Period: modern
Location: Tomorrow to Horizon.
Relative Date: A few days after the full moon.

Sirius folded up the map that he and Remus had created (re-created, essentially). It hadn't been nearly as hard as the original Marauder's Map had been, mainly because they were already familiar with the required magic. Exploring the grounds well enough to create the map had been the hard part. But they now had a functional map of the castle grounds, that showed everyone who was there.

He headed toward the cabin named "Tomorrow" (these places had some right odd names) and, after double checking that his cousin was within, knocked on the door. It pained him, to have to come ask Barty for this, and were it not for the fact that he NEEDED the potion to work, he would've taken his chances. But he wasn't going to let Remus go through another full moon without wolfsbane.

Donna waited for Amy by the entrance to the castle. She kept telling herself that the Doctor was fine, maybe if she told herself it enough she'd start to believe it. She hoped he had just gotten distracted with some gadgetry or other, but she couldn't shake the feeling in the pit of her stomach that something was wrong.

She needed to see him. She hadn't seen him - her Doctor at least - since the day the planets were stolen, the day he wiped her mind. She had spoken to him, briefly, after the earthquake, but she hadn't seen him face to face and she needed to.

It also gave her a chance to meet Amy and see whether this future ginger companion would be a good influence on her Spaceman or not...

Characters: Barty Crouch Jr
Rating: PG
Time Period: Modern Age, Near Future and back.
Location: His cabin and various other places on the property.
Relative Date: Night of the full moon and lasting about a month.
Status: Closed

Barty had taken up residence in a small cottage in the woods around the castle. He'd tried to apparate off the property and ended up in the middle of the water around the castle. That hadn't been fun at all. After that experience he decided to make the most of things where he was. The first thing he wanted to do was make some polyjuice potion. That was the best way to have fun, at least as far as he was concerned. He'd been watching some of the other people around the castle and could tell there were ways that he could cause trouble. It would definitely be interesting.

Barty had taken his time getting the ingredients together. He'd managed to find a room in the castle with some of what he needed. The powdered bicorn horn was actually one of the easiest to get. He'd been surprised about that. It took him a few days, and some intense searching but he managed to get everything he needed but one ingredient. He needed the fluxweed picked during the full moon. Barty had been searching the grounds for anything that remotely resembled fluxweed. He'd stumbled across the room with the paintings and the buttons. Every time he saw a button he just had to push it and he'd found himself in a different place. He once again tried to apparate but it once again didn't work.

He looked around the new place and found exactly what he needed, but it wasn't the right time so he'd found his way back to his cottage. Though he'd noticed that the moon phase was a few days behind Now that it was the full moon he made his way back to the room and went to the different place, picking more fluxweed than he would need for this one potion. He had to dodge a couple of dogs to get what he needed but about an hour, and what had been a perfectly good pair of pants, later, he'd picked the fluxweed and made his way back to the room with the paintings.

He decided that he really didn't like the sensation of traveling through the paintings and he was going to do it as little as possible. Once outside the castle Barty tried once again to apparate, this time landing in the middle of his living room. So he could move around the property but he couldn't leave. That knowledge could have saved him a lot of time a few days ago. He sighed and started to put things together.

The room that held the cauldron was one that Barty had enchanted so that only he could find it. Had he stayed in the castle he wouldn't have tried it but in this little cottage he felt he could get away with it. Barty had all of the ingredients in little jars on a shelf in the room. He started to slowly put the potion together, measuring out the ingredients and making sure that everything went in just perfectly. He'd always been good at potions because of his patience when it came to such things. He didn't have much patience in other areas but potions were like works of art for him and he made sure that this one would turn out perfect.

Barty stirred the ingredients slowly and put in the finishing touches before he sighed, letting the potion brew. It would take a month for it to brew properly and he wasn't sure what he was going to do until then, but as soon as the potion was ready, the fun would begin.

Ianto had quite a relaxing time with Jack at the hotel in the Golden Age. He really hadn't wanted to leave there, but he knew they couldn't stay there forever. No matter how long they were to be stuck here.

He was glad for the time alone with Jack. They had been able to reconnect with each other a bit. Well, he had been able to get more used to this new Jack being around. It was certainly different from how things had been, but it was a nice change.

He ventured outside of their cottage, making his way to the castle kitchen. He set to work right away brewing up a pot of coffee. He quickly found the mug he typically used and waited as the pot finished brewing. He sat down with his mug, sipping at it occasionally, loosing himself slightly within his own thoughts.

Characters: Blaine Anderson and ?
Rating: PG?
Time Period: Modern
Location: Library
Relative Date: A while after this.

Blaine had taken to wandering around the castle occasionally during the day when he wasn't spending time with Kurt. He figured if he was stuck here, he might as well explore the place a bit more. He couldn't always rely on Kurt to get him around this place. Though it was a comfort to have his boyfriend stuck in this place with him.

He often found himself winding up in the small library inside the castle. It reminded him slightly of Dalton. And loosing himself in a random book was a good way to pass the time around here. There really wasn't a whole lot else to do considering they didn't have access to the internet or anything that they normally would have. He also didn't have his guitar here with him, which would've helped pass some time as well.

He chose a book randomly that seemed like it might be interesting and got himself comfortable in one of the chairs and starting in on reading.

Amy had been to get food. Again. It was like she couldn't stop eating and she didn't really know why. And her stomach still hurt, which was odd because she was taking it as a sign she was hungry, not that anything was really wrong. She'd gone to the kitchen and gotten breakfast when she decided to take it out onto one of the terraces and eat it outside. It was nice enough for it, she supposed. As she started to eat, she felt like something was watching her.

Turning her head, there she was. That woman with the frizzy hair and the eyepatch. It was like she pulled open a part of the sky and there she was peeking through. "Oh god not again. What do you want from me?!" she yelled. She really wished that the Doctor was here, he would know what to do. The eyepatch woman just kept smirking. How did she follow her all the way here?

Characters: Gene Hunt & Alex Drake
Rating: Well... there's booze, swearing, snoggage and sexytimes
Time Period: Modern -> Golden Age -> Modern
Location: His office -> Restaurant -> Gene's room
Relative Date: After their reunion
Status: Closed

Gene had never been very good at the whole dating scene. He'd had a few dates when he was younger, but he'd married young, and with time the dates with the now ex-Mrs Hunt dwindled as he became more and more married to his job. It was amazing that they'd lasted as long as they had, really. After his divorce there had been a lot of one-night stands, but nothing serious. He blamed it on work, but truth was he was petrified of commitment, and pretty bloody scared of women - not that he would ever admit it. Gene Hunt is not scared of girly birds.

Then there was the failed attempts at a date with Alex - the most recent of which ended in a bombing, almost breaking Chris' face, hugging Chris, a lot of booze, dancing, and then that bastard Keats spoiling everything. Hopefully this time things would go smoother. Although, knowing his luck, Jim would probably pop out of the woodwork, or World War 102 would happen.

And then there was the fact that he was just plain nervous if the overflowing ashtray and empty scotch bottle on his desk were anything to go by. Alex was special. And he didn't want to screw up. With normal birds it didn't matter if they never called again or thought he was a pig, but it mattered to him what Alex thought.

Rating: R (for violence, in the LEAST)
Time Period: Modern
Location: Isaack's cabin
Relative Date: Currently
Status: CLOSED FOR NOW; MAY OPEN DEPENDING ON OUTCOME

Dorian Gray had been addicted to a number of things in his life. It was easy in his time, when what were now commonly regarded as the most depraved street drugs were absolutely ordinary pharmaceuticals, with no notion of their effect. Cocaine was used to treat children's toothaches, and opium was in nearly anything meant to calm a cough or the nerves or anything at all. Though Dorian had never been 'accidentally' into opium. He usually spent a few nights a week sprawled half-naked on Chinese cushions, a long pipe dangling from his fingers and his mind absolutely gone. When he was home, it was easy enough to lay in bed with a silver syringe and shoot morphine into his thighs. Cocaine could likewise be injected (as his acquaintance Mr. Holmes would well know). Laudanum for sleep could be abused. There was a veritable flood of liquors in his cabinet. Absinthe brought anguish and ecstasy, depending on the measure taken. And there were the endless cigarettes. Dorian could not imagine a moment he had lived in London that he had not had one of Lord Henry's opium-laced Cairo cigarettes between his lips. Sometimes he smoked inferior tobaccos, but Harry's was the best. He missed it dearly.

But nothing in all the world had made him feel the way Isaack's bite and blood made him feel. It was like nothing else he could have dreamed of.

It had taken a day or two before Dorian wanted it again. At first he ignored it, assuming he just wanted the lay with Isaack as a lover. The two urges were quite similar at first. And he wasn't in the mood to deal with Isaack's rough handling in that department. But as the days progressed it became unbearable and nothing he did fulfilled the...itching under his skin. After a week he got physically sick.

So He went down in the middle of the night to Isaack's cabin and knocked sweetly on the door. He aimed to trade Isaack for what he wanted.

But just in case Isaack wasn't feeling generous, there was a long thin knife from the kitchen hidden in his coat.

Remus woke when it happened. He had been trying to catch some sleep before the moon came up, and he had managed. But he sat up with a jolt as it began, his mouth opening in a cry as he tensed in pain, rolling off the bed and too the floor with a bang as he arched backwards in another stab of pain as his bones moved, twisted and tore at his skin and flesh. His cries of pain was horrible, loud and devestating to listen to, his breathing coming in gasps, body trembling as teeth began forming, claws began forming. All of it.

Barty was left with no choice but to wander until he found somewhere to live. He'd known that Sirius hated him but he didn't think the other man would leave him wandering. It was starting to get dark and without a wand, he had no way of lighting his way. Although the nearly full moon would provide a bit of light, it wouldn't be enough to really see where he was walking.

He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as he tried to get a sense of direction. He opened his eyes and just started walking. He could end up wandering in the woods for days. Sirius wouldn't have to worry about giving his wand back if he ended up lost in the forest. He wouldn't be able to return the wand if he couldn't find the wand owner. All Barty could do was walk and hope he found something or someone that could help.

20 June 2011 @ 12:11 am
Characters: Gene Hunt, Alex Drake
Rating: PG13+
Time Period: Modern
Location: His office within the castle
Relative Date: Sometime after Alex's arrival
Status: Complete

Gene had been spending rather a lot of time in his office sulking working since the whole Sam kissing him incident - the whole Sam kissing him incident that Sam knew nothing about since it hadn't been Sam at all, it'd been the Master. Messy situation, but one that had left Gene fuming and avoiding Sam like the plague - so in hindsight, the office was probably the single worst hiding place ever.

However, in hiding, he was blissfully unaware that a certain pain the arse DI had arrived. A certain pain in the arse DI that he had been missing a heck of a lot.

Characters:Morgana
Rating: TBD
Time Period: Modern
Location: Garden
Relative Date: Present
Status: Open

Morgana was lonely. She had not spoken to many since.. since Willow vanished in the earth quake, and in all honesty, she did not feel like talking to many either. She was scared of forming friendships, as they kept vanishing for her. Her thoughts wandered to Spencer, and the dark haired beauty burst into tears, hands wrapping around her belly. Her wonderful lover. Her wonderful man. The person she had hoped to wed. To share a child with. But now she was all alone. All alone and waiting a child.

Her belly was rounded now, showing well traces of pregnancy. In the last months, actually, she finally counted. Not long til she would have the baby. She looked up, unhaling the scent of summer and closed her eyes, laying on the grass enjoying the sun.

16 June 2011 @ 11:56 am
Characters: Donna Noble, Dean Winchester
Rating: TBD
Time Period: Modern
Location: Culpeper Garden
Relative Date: Present
Status: Open

It was probably the furthest Donna had been from the castle. She would really have to make more of an effort to explore. It seemed there was so much more to the castle than she'd realised. The grounds were a whole lot bigger, and very beautiful. Well, if you're going to be trapped anywhere, might as well be somewhere posh and with style, right?

The Culpeper Garden was beautiful. Very peaceful and wonderfully kept. Had they kidnapped a gardener or something? Thinking about it, the whole castle was well maintained yet you never saw anyone cleaning - at least Donna hadn't seen anyone.

She settled down on the grass with her sketchbook. She'd been rubbish at art at school. Stickmen were about her limit. But since everything that had happened with her head she'd gotten good, really good. She'd drawn when the headaches were bad. She'd drawn down the strange things from her dreams. Looking back now she could name every monster, alien and object she had drawn. She hadn't been able to when she'd drawn them. Before she knew it, she found herself sketching the TARDIS.

15 June 2011 @ 10:19 pm
Characters: Janie Potts
Rating: tbd
Time Period: Modern Age
Location: Forest's Edge
Relative Date: Weeks after her arrival
Status: Open

It had been weeks since she arrived on the island, and Janie still hadn't really made introductions with anyone, except for the man she met right after arriving.  Her time was spent exploring the castle grounds, the forests, anything and everything that she could while trying her hardest to remain hidden.  It wasn't always successful, but somehow she managed to have as little interaction as possible.

Today, she decided to spend in the woods.  All she needed was a simple lunch and nature, which was in ample supply.  Her new outfit of choice was now a simple tank top, dark jeans and sensible boots which she considered great exploring gear.  She wore her long dark hair down and a pair of dark sunglasses just because she liked the way they looked.

Seated under a tree, she wondered if this was the day she'd finally talk to someone else, make a new friend.  At first she isolated herself because she was sure that her friend would arrive and rescue her any second, then she thought that he may have gotten lost.  Every possibility went through her mind until she realized that she was stuck here.  This was her new home.

Janie sighed, biting into her jerky and wishing that she had steak, and that it was easy to slip into a pocket, and many other things that she knew would never happen.

13 June 2011 @ 12:15 am
Characters: Karl Urban and Viggo Mortensen
Rating: tbd
Time Period: modern
Location: The Sanctuary
Relative Date: after the auditions
Status: Pm to join

Karl wandered around the house, bored. He'd been here now longer than he cared to remember and he was really tiring about the place.
Viggo had been distracted for a while with the auditions for the musical and this gave him time to himself to think.
There had to be some way out of this place. The pilot could leave no problem, there was food and drink, that had to come from somewhere. Karl still wasn't fully convinced by the "magic" excuse.
He knew he was probably obsessing. This escape thing had become his obsession. It was all he thought about and he spent days walking as close to the border as he could, trying to find a break in the forcefield. So far he'd been careful and hadn't passed out; he stepped back when he began feeling dizzy.
He hadn't told Viggo any of this yet. He knew his partner would disapprove. Although it had surprised him that no-one had seen, or confronted him about spending so much time around the borders.

11 June 2011 @ 07:07 am
Characters: Evan Walker and ??
Rating: tbd, probably at least pg13
Time Period: modern
Location: inside the castle
Relative Date: three days after auditions
Status: open!

Evan was bored. A bored Evan could be dangerous. He had no qualms about trying new things, whatever those things might be, and had no regard to how safe (or not) the activity was. So he left his room in the castle and went wandering, a cigarette hanging from his lips.

He was dressed impeccably, in Armani slimfit jeans that were half a size too small, so that they fit snugly, and a form-fitting black Prada long sleeved shirt. He could reasonably be called a label whore--he was a model, after all. What models didn't like to wear designer clothes?

He looked every inch a model, too, standing 6' 2", and lanky, barely weighing in at 150 pounds. His face was set into an expression of perpetual boredom, lips pursed into a practiced Victoria Beckham style pout, with perfectly groomed hair. He was hard to miss, and impossible to ignore. It was probably why he'd been so successful as a model. When he walked into a room, any room, he commanded attention.

He turned the corner and headed downstairs, walking slowly, trying to take everything in as he did. He hadn't seen anyone since he'd auditioned, two days after he arrived. Of course, he hadn't exactly gone looking, either. He stayed mainly to himself, trying to adjust to the new location. It was easy enough to pretend that this was a luxury resort, but at the same time, he was frustrated at the lack of ability to communicate with anyone from his life.

Moving automatically, he turned up the hallway that would take him to the library. Perhaps he would run into someone there--someone hot, preferably male, that he could hit on--and hopefully they would reciprocate. If he was lucky...

07 June 2011 @ 11:48 pm
Characters: Eames, anyone who wants to join
Rating: PG-13
Time Period: Modern
Location: Helicopter landing pad and castle
Relative Date: Eames's arrival
Status: Open

Eames had no idea where he was, but considering the invitation he'd received, it kind of made sense. They had promised him a game, so it probably involved a lot of money if it was being kept in such secrecy. Still, it was kind of weird how there was no one to meet him and show him around. He quickly looked around, asking if there was anyone there, but only silence greeted him. He was usually not a suspicious man, but even he had to admit that was a weird situation.

He found an empty hallway and started walking down the path, looking for his cell phone in his trousers, though he knew it'd be useless. Who would he call? Most of the people he knew changed phone numbers every week or less, and the rest wouldn't take his call. But it was worth a shot. Picking up his phone, Eames dialed the first number that came to his mind: Arthur's. But the phone was dead. Completely dead. He tried other numbers, but they all led to nothing. Trying to keep his cool, Eames discarted the phone, throwing it on the ground with a little more force than it was necessary, ran his fingers through his hair and sighed, looking at the empty hallway. For a moment he wondered if he was in a dream, somehow caught by his enemies, but a quick look on his totem assured him that was reality.

"Well, then." He spoke softly, to no one in particular. "Let's see where this rabbit hole takes me to." He said and started walking down the dark corridor, aimlessly.

07 June 2011 @ 09:32 pm
Characters: Alex Drake and Sam Tyler
Rating: PG/PG-13
Time Period: Modern
Location: Just inside the castle.
Relative Date: Alex's arrival, present day and time
Status: Closed, PM to join.

Alex was tired, and she didn't know why she was here. Well other than that this seemed to be heaven. Possibly hell. Though why it involved a helicopter ride was beyond her. Whatever was going on, she wanted some answers. This was definitely not the final curtain she was expecting. She expected to walk into the pub and then that was it. There would be nothing, she'd just.. move on. Not a helicopter and certainly not a stupid castle. She rubbed her eyes and sighed, and then went up to the castle before going inside. Clearly there wasn't anyone outside, at least not that she could see.

After a moment, it was quiet as she looked around and she put her head down. "Okay, this isn't funny!" she called, to no one in particular. "If I've moved from the 1980s to the bloody 1500s, I'm going to be seriously cross. I get it, I'm dead. Time to move the hell on!" And just for good measure, she kicked something, though pretty much hurt her foot in the process.

01 June 2011 @ 06:00 pm
Characters: Barty Crouch Jr, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin
Rating: PG-13
Time Period: Modern
Location: Helicopter landing pad and castle
Relative Date: Barty's arrival
Status: closed

Barty's head was hurting a bit as he slowly began to regain consciousness. At first he wasn't even really sure why they'd stunned him but then he realized that they weren't fools. They knew he'd take a chance to escape the first opportunity he saw. Keeping him stunned was the best way to get him there without incident.

Barty blinked a couple of times as he opened his eyes. He was supposed to be in a prison more secure than Azkaban and yet he found himself staring up at a blue sky. Why was he outside if he was supposed to be imprisoned? He checked his sleeve and removed the wand, ever more curious. So they hadn't found the wand when they stunned him and he somehow managed to get free.

He slowly got to his feet, not wanting to risk the dizziness that usually followed a stunner. He checked his pockets and found his flask of polyjuice potion, but he couldn't for the life of him remember who the potion was set for. It didn't really matter as long as he was disguised, he supposed. Barty took a drink of the potion and waited for the effects to kick in. He always hated the initial change. It actually hurt sometimes. Especially now as he felt himself getting smaller. Who did he have this set for?

Once the change was complete Barty looked around and saw that there were no reflective surfaces with which to check his reflection. Maybe he could get some clues from his own body. He was certainly shorter, and his hair felt different. He ran his fingers through it before moving them down his face. When he felt his forehead, he stopped. His fingers moved over the scar just to verify that he hadn't lost his mind. He started to laugh almost uncontrollably when the realization dawned on him.

Barty spotted the castle and started to walk toward it, completely amused that he'd managed to disguise himself as Harry Potter. He'd have to do something about the clothes he was wearing being too big for him, but there was fun to be had, that was for sure.

31 May 2011 @ 06:41 pm
Characters:Sirius, Remus
Rating: tbd
Time Period: modern to dawn of time and back
Location: castle, castle grounds (and the equivalent in Dawn of Time), and in Horizon
Relative Date: present day; approximately one week before the full moon (with an expected duration of ~3 weeks.)
Status: closed; pm to join

Sirius was on a mission. He needed to find everything to make Wolfsbane potion; it was too late for this month's full moon, as it took a bit over three weeks to brew, and the full moon was in one week. He'd have to just stay with Remus and try to keep him somewhat sane as he transformed. But he was determined to make the potion to help him during subsequent transformations.

He wasn't an expert potioner by any means. But he was still rather skilled. It was frustrating, because he knew he'd never be as good at potions as Snivellus. Nonetheless, he could do this. The castle had deigned to provide a potions book (Moste Potente Potions, revised in 2008, "updated to include Wolfsbane, as well as 3 newly discovered potions!"), so Sirius had the ingredients. Wolfsbane plant, mandrake root, vinegar, fluxweed, moondew, and pond slime.

Some were quite common and easy to find (vinegar, pond slime), others much more difficult (moondew, fluxweed). The rest weren't too rare, but neither were they common. He'd already collected a large container of pond slime, and had raided the kitchen for vinegar.

He set out on a walk, looking carefully for wolfsbane plant, the mandrake plant, and... well, everything else. He was grateful that it wasn't a recipe that required anything from a unicorn. Unless one of them attempted to hurt him, he wouldn't kill one. And provokking one to attack him so that he could kill it was just as bad in his opinion. (Although, if he did happen to run into one, and killed it in legitimate self defense, he would collect as much blood, horn, mane, and tail as possible). After several hours, he'd collected all but the fluxweed.

He returned to the library to see a note sitting atop the book. Curious, he turned the parchment over. 'That which you seek and cannot find is only found in the Dawn of Time.' He frowned. Remus had shown him the time room and gone over the different time periods. But thus far, he hadn't ventured to another time. It seemed that today would be the day.

He pulled out his wand and cast a disillusionment charm over the objects he'd found thus far. Then he transformed into Padfoot and trotted to the time room, where he found the correct painting and poked at the button with his paw. Immediately, the castle seemed to dissolve around him. Soon he was in a very different time period. He transformed back, and marked the button with red sparks, hoping that the spell held, so he could find his way back. Then he trotted away, in search of the last, elusive ingredient.

It took nearly an hour, three encounters with dinosaurs, two with lions, and a near run in with a unicorn, but he found the fluxweed. He collected as much as he could carry, and hurried back, relieved to see red sparks, fading, but present.

Soon he was back in the castle, and he went to collect the ingredients and hurry home.

'Remus?' he called excitedly as he entered the cottage.

Characters: John And Donna
Rating: PG
Time Period: Modern
Location: Outside Donna's room
Relative Date: Afternoon
Status: Closed

"Donna! Donna? You in?" He didn't know where about Donna was but he only really knew one other person here and he was sure he'd dragged her around enough for one day. It was nice to have more people to do things with but he always went back to his de facto 'companion'. He just wanted to go see the place and look around, even if he knew it was getting late, he only knew one person that might contemplate a little bit of an adventure. Or she'd just slam the door on him but at least he tried! He needed something to do before he got mindless bored with what little he had.

"Can I come in?"

Loke had generally kept away from people a while now. He had been tired a lot, and tried to look for other wolves. but his searches had been fruitless, and having lost so many friends. Or rather, not found them. He had hid. But the hot sun on his fur had felt really nice as he had padded and laid down in the middle of the gardens by a rock, his head on his paws half asleep.

26 May 2011 @ 05:56 pm
Characters: The Master And Gene Hunt
Rating: PG-13
Time Period: Modern
Location: Castle halls
Relative Date: Mid day, a couple of days after meeting Pete
Status: Finished.

It had been a fine few days, nothing too important happening, no one to bother him in his glorious little cabin.   He's been happy, he'd been content.   But he'd been bored.  With a bit of a whistle and a smile on his face he idly played with his laser Screwdriver,  flipping the large thing though his fingers like one would a pen... With a bit of difficulty at first.   Eventually he began to just toss it from one hand to the other, stopping entirely when he stepped into the large castle.   Maybe he would find someone interesting in here... Maybe he would search out that Dexter fellow, see how he's handling being completely wrong about his situation and the fact that The Master had told him the truth.

He lets out something like a chuckle before gently pressing on each door he walked by, pushing them open if they were unlocked before just walking away.

Really. he was just causing problems now.

Rating: tbd
Time Period: modern
Location: Great Hall, Castle
Relative Date: 4 days after this transmission
Status: "Join us, leave your field to flow---"oh sorry, wrong musical! OPEN!!!!

Viggo was nervous. No one had contacted him about auditioning. He wasn't sure if anyone had said anything to Rachel, as he was only just getting to the Great Hall and hadn't seen her yet. He had no doubt she'd be there already, possibly for longer than was necessary. He could be wrong, but she was so enthusiastic about this that he'd guess she'd been there since early morning.

He pulled open the door and let himself into the room. The only things he was carrying were his mate and a notepad and pen. He made his way through the room to a table at one end, glancing around as he walked, looking for Rachel.

25 May 2011 @ 03:30 am
Characters: Evan Walker and Bonnie Bennet
Rating: Oh at LEAST PG-13
Time Period: modern
Location: helicopter landing pad --> wherever he storms off to
Relative Date: his day of arrival; 2 days before Rent auditions.
Status: come on in, the water's fine (and so's Evan ;-) ) aka OPEN

Evan Walker was pissed. Evan Walker pissed was NOT a good thing. 'SOMEONE is going to fucking hear about this,' he growled, pulling out his iPhone. No network. 'Fuck you, AT&T' he muttered, pulling out his BlackBerry that his manager insisted he keep on at all times. Still no network. 'Sprint too?' He shoved both phones into his bag and looked down at the one the pilot had given him--insistently. He picked it up, and tried calling his manager, but when he dialed and hit enter, there was nothing but white noise. 'What. The. Fucking. FUCK?!" he shouted. 'FUCK YOU ANNE-MARIE!' His manager was SO fired.

He picked up his bags and started storming toward the castle. At least Anne-Marie had enough sense to send him someplace... well, he'd go with elegant. He couldn't be sure it was nice until he saw it. Which wouldn't take long at the rate he was walking.

Characters: Harry Lockhart
Rating: PG-13 for now.
Time Period: modern
Location: helicopter landing pad
Relative Date: Day of Harry's arrival
Status: Closed and Complete

Harry stepped off the helicopter and looked around for a moment before turning back to look at the pilot. "I think you got the wrong place, man." Harry just kept looking at the pilot, who gave him no response. The pilot threw a phone looking device at Harry's feet, but said nothing. "I said, I think..." His words were cut off as the pilot started to take off. "Guy! You left me in the wrong place!" He sighed when the helicopter kept going. Harry took in his surroundings. The last time he checked, the Hamptons didn't have a castle. He could have been wrong about that. Harry dug in his pockets until he found his cell phone, turning it on. He dialed the number that Harmony had given him the last time they talked and hit send, dropping the phone when it emmitted a high pitched squeal. "What the fuck?" He picked up the phone and hung up the call, then tried again getting the same result. "Fucking piece of shit!" He threw the phone and ran his fingers through his hair. "Great, Harry. Just great. Where the fuck did you end up?" He turned in a circle about three times before his eyes landed on the phone that the pilot had thrown to him. He picked it up and tried to call Harmony's number, getting no reaction from this phone whatsoever. "How the fuck am I supposed to call Harmony?" He sighed and turned to look at the castle. "Maybe there's a phone there." He stopped and shook his head. "Great thinking, Harry. Because every really old castle had phone lines installed when they were built." He shook his head again and started walking.

Characters: Marco and Basil
Rating: PG-13 for now
Time Period: modern

Relative Date: A few days after the last time they met.

Marco had made himself breakfast. A unhealthy heap of eggs and bacon on a plate with two slices of toast on the side laying ready for him. He opened the fridge, pulling out a carton of orange juice and filled a big glass. He jywned, still wearing his PJ's. They were light blue with footballs on it. Not that he liked football, but apparently this was all which was in the closet. He yawned again, leaning against the counter a second. He wanted to sleep. but also knew that if he did he would sleep the whole day away. like he would always do.

Characters: Jack Harkness, Ianto Jones
Rating: PG-13 to start, but really.... yeah.
Time Period: Modern to Golden Age
Location: Starting at the Castle, moving to Hotel Fortunata.
Relative Date: Today
Status: Closed

For the most part, Jack was settling in well in his new 'abode'. It was different from Cardiff, that was for sure. However, the company was fine by him and outside of the few bizarre dreams, Jack was enjoying himself immensely.

Especially given the fact that he and Ianto seemed to be on the rights where their relationship was concerned. They never had time like this together and it was always work or the Rift that interfered with their time together. So, hopefully, they could actually figure out where they stood.

Jack, for his part, was still hesitant -- especially as he learned more about his previous self that had been here. In all honesty, Jack was surprised he had gotten this second chance. That was why they were going to take this trip to one of the other ages. Jack was curious about seeing these places they could hop to (sans malfunctioning Vortex Manipulator) and also to have a vacation away together.

"So where are these supposed 'buttons'?" Jack asked, extending his elbow to Ianto as they wandered through the castle corridors.

22 May 2011 @ 11:05 pm
Characters: Arthur Levine and Sirius Black
Rating: PG-13
Time Period: Modern
Location: The castle grounds
Relative Date: Today
Status: Finished

Arthur's hand, in his pocket, was tightly gripped around a small red die as he stared at the gigantic castle that loomed in front of him. He was still quite a ways away from it, and already it was massive. Either this employer was extremely rich, or--Arthur didn't want to think about the or, but he had to eventually. Or there was no employer, and this was just some way to kill him, or a way to keep him somewhere. He had already established that he wasn't dreaming by the familiar weight of his die in his pocket--plus, he could remember exactly how he'd gotten there. The man in the helicopter had handed him a strange phone before he had taken off, but as Arthur had learned, it didn't work like a normal phone. He supposed that that should have been a warning for him to stay in the helicopter instead of getting out, but... what's done is done.

Arthur squinted into the sun as he continued the walk to the castle. He'd been walking for... judging by his watch, about twenty minutes, and he hadn't seen a single person. It was strange, but he figured that most people would be inside the castle. It was around noon on a Sunday, so he assumed that most people would be either sleeping still or just waking up. Whatever the case, the castle was slowly getting bigger and bigger, soon with each step. Arthur hoped that when he got inside, he'd find someone who knew what was going on.

When he got to the front doors, he tugged on the handle until the door opened. He stepped inside the massive structure and took a moment to gape around at the architecture. Before he'd began to run point, he had preferred to take the position of Architect. It was what he had studied in college and so looking at the architecture was automatic for him--it happened when he went into every building. After his eyes finished taking in the architecture, he realized it was quiet. Nobody was there, no worker to take him to the man (or woman) responsible for bringing him to the castle. Meaning there was no job. He swallowed, hard, hand checking the die in his pocket again--but then, he heard footsteps coming towards him. He turned towards them and waited, hoping that it'd be someone asking him to delve into someone's mind, rather than cuff him over the back of a head with a gun and drag him off to a room to be tortured for information.

Characters:Puck
Rating: PG-13 for now
Time Period: modern
Location: Helicpoter pad
Relative Date: Puck's arrival (today)
Status: open

Puck stepped off the plane and looked around. It looked like a posh place. He wondered where the hell he was expected to go. There was no-one here to meet him. This seemed strange. The words on the ticket had led Puck to believe that these people were hugely interested in signing him as a player. Surely there'd be someone here to meet him. The pilot who'd flown him here had been pretty unhelpful. Puck had asked where he was, who was gonna meet him, etc. The pilot had simply shrugged and handed him a mobile phone, saying he'd find out everything soon enough.

He pulled out the phone and examined it. It sucked! There was nothing on it. You could ring people, but that was it. Snorting, he shoved it back in his pocket and pulled out his own phone. He figured, being in  a strange place, he should text someone. Tell them where he was. He hadn't done so yet as he knew everyone would try to stop him.

Glee club, he decided. He'd ring one of them. He took the phone, to find a number and was surprised to find that he had no signal. "Damn," he muttered, "Now what?" Maybe he should head towards that big castle. They were probably waiting in there for him. Whoever "they" were.

Characters: Cia Delacosta, Adonis
Rating: PG-13ish
Time Period: modern
Location: pasture
Relative Date: several weeks after the cave appeared
Status: pm to join

Cia was still restless. She was sleeping okay, eating the same as normal, there was nothing that appeared to have changed. But things just felt different. She picked up her sketchpad and wandered around the grounds looking for something to inspire her to draw. After meeting Basil, she wanted to draw something other than clothes.

She found a pasture with some horses and smiled widely. She sat down nearby, resting against a fence and balancing her pad on her knees. She didn't draw anything at first. She just wanted to watch them play. They were so pretty, and she'd always loved them, even though she never got to see them in person.

She noticed a big black horse that seemed to keep to him(her?) self. She wondered if horses had different personalities (animalities?) like people did. She stayed quiet and continued to watch.

Time Period: modern
Location: Near the forest's edge at first then the cave.
Relative Date: A few days after Damon ran into Dean.
Status: pm to join

Damon was out and about when he caught the certain scent of a vampire he once helped out. "Isaack," Damon said to himself and quickly took off towards the other vampire. He still hoped to use Isaack to his advantage, especially now that there was a hunter here that seemed like he could be a threat.

Soon Damon caught sight of the the other vampire leaving one of the cottages. Damon watched for a moment as it seemed like Isaack was heading towards the castle. However, before Isaack could get far, Damon stepped out in front him. "Long time now see," he titled his head and looked Isaack over. "Really, you'd think you'd at least call after I helped bring you back." His tone was a bit bitchy, but really this was meant to be a friendly meeting. Just with Damon's personality, that was hard at times.

"Realize what you are yet? I seem to recall you have some trouble accepting what you truly are last time we saw each other."

Time Period: modern
Location: castle kitchen
Relative Date: a couple weeks after the nightmares started

Viggo glanced at the clock. He'd been hoping Karl would be back before he had to leave, so that he could come with him. But as it drew close to the time when he had to leave or be late, he wasn't home. So he scrawled a note and headed out.

He was wary of this girl, but figured he'd hear her out. She seemed harmless--just... highly enthusiastic. He had no idea what possible help he could be though. He'd done a bit of stage work, but never a musical.

He made his way to the kitchen, unsure who he'd find. After grabbing a water from the refrigerator, he settled in to wait.
