What We Do and Why

  1. We believe that our youth should explore a Coding and Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education as they prepare for the jobs of the future.
  2. We believe that our youth deserve access to knowledge as they join the competitive academic and job markets.
  3. We believe that our hard-working youth need our assistance to reduce the financial toll that college enrollment bears on both them and their families.

Meet Our Founders

Today’s youth face unprecedented challenges. From housing insecurity to social media pressures, finding resilience during difficult times is more important than ever.

Brothers Henri and Zack Crockett understand this first-hand, having grown up in a single-parent home in Pompano Beach. After completing successful careers in the NFL, Henri and Zack co-founded the Crockett Foundation to give back to the South Florida community that helped make them who they are today.

Their mission was to establish a foundation that would create inspiring, fun, and innovative programming for Broward County’s youth.
Now two decades later, the Crockett Foundation has provided countless children with the tools they need to succeed. Through a diverse roster of programming, the Crockett Foundation gives children an opportunity to change their realities.

Learning life skills outside the traditional classroom setting empowers our youth to forge a path out of the challenging situations they may find themselves in today – while always remembering where they came from.

CAFS explore the medical field in Palm Beach symposium
Once again, the T. Leroy Jefferson Society, a premier medical association located in Palm Beach, welcomed our Crockett-Allen Family Scholars to their annual medical symposium. The event gave our Scholars an opportunity to explore the medical field through the lens of Black medical professionals who dedicate their lives to providing affordable healthcare services to local families in South Florida. The Scholars were able to receive mentorship and guidance on their postsecondary aspirations as well as gain exposure to technical practices that can be found in today’s medical field.

The Digital Explorers at Margate Middle School participated in a hack-a-thon this month that saw students code and design applications using JavaScript and CSS.
