Summer schedules vary by campus. Please note the following hours and closures:

• District Office: Open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM beginning June 1st through June 26th
• Early Childhood Centers: Open Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM beginning June 1st through June 26th
• Elementary Schools (K–6): Closed for summer break from May 25th – July 6th
• Middle Schools (7–8): Open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM beginning June 1st through June 26th
• High Schools (9–12): Open Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM beginning June 1st through June 26th

All campuses and offices will be closed on Thursday, June 18th and Friday, July 3rd in observance of the Juneteenth and Fourth of July holidays.

Enrollment Information
Families can register online anytime at husd.org/enroll.
For assistance with high school, middle school, or early childhood enrollment, please contact the specific campus directly.
For help with the online registration process, the Enrollment Office is available Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM at (480) 279-7020 or via email at ParentVUE.Support@husd.org.

Resuming Regular Hours

• District Office, Early Childhood Centers, Middle Schools, and High Schools will return to regular business hours on Monday, June 29th
• Elementary Schools will reopen on Tuesday, July 7th

All Arizona children and teens (18 and under) can receive free meals all summer at participating sites across the state. Meals vary by location and may include breakfast, lunch, snacks, or supper. No sign-up needed, just attend during scheduled meal times. Mrs. Faith Orr brings over 26 years of experience in education to this role. Throughout her career, she has served elementary students as a teacher across multiple grade levels and as an elementary principal. Most recently, she has been leading an elementary school in a neighboring district, where she has demonstrated strong instructional leadership, a commitment to student achievement, and a dedication to fostering a positive school culture.

The Higley Unified School District Governing Board meeting schedule can be found on the district website at husd.org/board-meetings. The public is welcome to attend all board meetings. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the meetings. Board Business Meetings and Work Study Sessions are livestreamed on the district YouTube channel. Please note, Points of Pride, Higley Adventures, and Requests to Speak are not included during the Work Study meetings. 

We would like to remind families who are interested in making a tax credit donation this season, that this can be made for any one of our schools through our HUSD website.

An individual may claim a nonrefundable tax credit for making cash contributions or for certain fees paid to a public school located in Arizona.

To qualify for the credit, an individual must make contributions for qualifying expenditures per A.R.S. § 43-1089.01. The credit is equal to the amount of fees paid or cash contributions, not to exceed $400 for married filing joint filers and $200 for all other filing statuses.
