How did you find out about scalp cooling?

Information provided by oncologists. I expressed my worries about hair loss during treatment. I have always had long hair since I was a child and it would be so devastating and depressing  to lose my hair.

Was your scalp cooling experience as you’d expected?

Yes.  The tightness sometimes hurt a little bit but it was tolerable and I would rather feel the pain than not have my hair.

Did you ever feel the need to wear a wig, hat or head covering during or after treatment?

No. I bought a few wigs  but after the treatment wig was not needed.

How do you feel about your scalp cooling experience?

It definitely helped my morale . Just the thought of losing my hair was extremely depressing enough and I was so thankful that there was a product or solution to my worries about losing hair. As a woman who is constantly out  doing public speaking, and networking. Losing my hair would have just been so devastating...

Would you recommend scalp cooling to others?

I definitely would. I have spread the good news about scalp cooling to everyone that I encounter, at church, at professional events, and at work. I made sure to encourage people to tell everyone they know in case they ever need to save hair loss due too cancer treatments.
