With nearly two decades of clinical experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through a wide range of mental health challenges. From anxiety and depression to trauma, bipolar disorder, and perinatal mental health, my work is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practice, and deep respect for your unique journey.

Depression Symptoms can vary slightly depending on the type and can range from mild to severs.  

Low energy, feeling very sad or hopeless, thoughts of self-harm or suicide, irritability, changes in behavior, sleep changes, loss on interest in hobbies, and activities, difficulty concentrating or making decisions.

Depression is treatable — usually with talk therapy, medication or both.

It is one of the most treatable mental health conditions. Approximately 80% to 90% of people with depression who seek treatment eventually respond well to treatment.

Seeking help as soon as you have symptoms is essential.

Yes, most insurance companies cover the cost of treatment for Registered Social Workers who hold a Master’s Degree.

Some benefit plans provide coverage up to a specific dollar amount per year, while others pay a percentage towards each visit. It is up to you to explore your insurance coverage. It is also possible to claim Social Work and Psychotherapist fees as a medical expense on your Canada Revenue Tax Return if your medical expenses are over a specific amount during the tax year.

At the end of each session, we will provide you with a receipt with the therapist’s name, designation, and registration number, which you can submit to your insurance company or use for your income tax purposes.

Everything discussed between you and your therapist will not be shared with anyone else without your permission.

Therapists are legally mandated to make certain disclosures in cases where there is suspicion of harm to oneself, harm to others, or child abuse. All such disclosures will be discussed with you in advance.
