City of London School for Girls is a selective, independent day school in the heart of the City. Girls come to us from all over London. It is a unique learning environment, and we are delighted that you are considering joining us.

11+ admissions
Our next 11+ open event will be held on Tuesday 23 June. Bookings for this are now open via this link.
Registrations for entry in 2027 will open later in June.

Registration for entry in September 2027 will open in June 2026.
First assessment
Our first assessments will be held between 13 and 18 November 2026.
Second assessment and interview
Our second assessments will be held on Wednesday 6 January 2027. Interviews will follow later in January.
Places offered
Offers, including scholarship and bursary offers, will be sent via email on Friday 12 February 2027.
Deadline to accept: early March 2027.

Another fortnight of proving there is no such thing as a quiet week at City. Year 12 enjoyed fireside tea with our Oxford alumnae, while Dr Bunce’s illuminating Rose Lecture sparked lively debate about dystopian architecture. Our Year 7s returned victorious from a cricket competition at Lord’s, alongside German theatre triumphs, VEX Robotics wizardry, and Frida in Year 12 achieving a perfect score in the Advent Maths Challenge. From Year 8’s high stakes trade challenge to swimmers launching into training for a 14km Strait of Bonifacio relay, it’s been busy, brilliant and only slightly exhausting. Same again next week?
