Train the Trainer

The moment is NOW. Are you ready to become a trusted CLDC-Certified Know Your Rights & Risks Trainer?

This is your chance to get the training that has the most impact – when your communities need it most.

In today’s rapidly changing legal and political landscape, immigrants and their allies face unprecedented challenges. Laws shift overnight. Our family, friends, and community are under constant attack. The movement needs trained, certified advocates who can deliver accurate, life-saving information when it counts.

CLDC is the movement’s go-to resource for Know Your Rights & Risks trainings. For over 23 years, our team has been the gold standard of movement-aligned legal work, and now we’re opening our comprehensive eight-session Train the Trainer (TTT) online course, “Know Your Rights & Risks for Immigrants & Allies” to select participants who are ready to make an immediate impact.

This isn’t just a training – it’s a certification from the organization that wrote the playbook. When you complete this program, you’ll carry the CLDC name and credibility that frontline activists and organizers trust. You’ll have direct access to our legal team’s latest insights, updated materials as laws change, and ongoing support that keeps you ahead of the curve.

Space is extremely limited. We’re looking for people ready to fully commit to this intensive eight-week program that can deliver trainings to their own networks at least three times per year. This is for serious advocates who understand the stakes.

What you’re committing to:

  • 4-6 hours weekly for eight intensive weeks
  • Homework, quizzes, and a final presentation that proves you’re ready
  • Becoming part of CLDC’s network of certified trainers
  • Staying current with our legal updates and movement needs

The legal landscape won’t wait. Neither should you.

Multiple KYRR trainings exist (Climate Activists, Digital Security, Street Protesters, etc.), but Immigrants & Allies is launching first because the need is urgent. If you are looking for a different training, we’ll keep you in the loop when new TTT programs become available – but don’t miss this opportunity.
