Who can use the Sales Module?
The Sales Module is available to any cemetery that uses Chronicle Pro. If you’re not a Chronicle user yet, you can still fill out the request form on this page. Our team will contact you and explain how you can start using Chronicle Pro and the Sales Module.
Are online payments a good fit for my cemetery?
Online payments are a good fit if your cemetery handles active transactions and you want a faster way to collect payment for plots, services, or fees. They help you reduce manual follow up and give purchasers an easy way to pay from any device.
Online payments suit you if you:
- receive payments often
- want fewer delays from manual bank transfers
- want invoices automatically marked as paid
- prefer payments that go straight into your payment partner account
- need a clear record of each payment linked to your sales
If you don’t process many transactions or you rarely issue invoices, you may not need online payments.
How does the Sales Module work with my cemetery data?
The Sales Module connects directly to your Chronicle space. Each sale links to your plots, ownership records, and services. All updates flow into your existing data, so your inventory and ownership stay accurate without extra work or duplication.
How do online payments work with Chronicle?
Online payments are powered by Chronicle’s payment partners.
Worldpay supports cemeteries in Australia.
Fortis supports cemeteries in the US.
When online payments are active, purchasers can pay invoices through secure card payments or through ACH transfers in supported regions. Each transaction is recorded in your Sales Module automatically.
Are there extra charges for online payments?
Yes, each payment partner applies its own fees.
Australia and New Zealand (Worldpay)
Worldpay charges transaction fees for each online payment. During setup, you can choose who pays the fee. You can pay it as the cemetery, or you can pass it to the purchaser. Worldpay will confirm this choice with you during the verification process.Typical cost items may include:
card transaction fees
percentage fees set by card type
settlement fees or monthly minimums (set by Worldpay)
US and Canada (Fortis)
Your cemetery pays this fee for each online transaction. The fee is taken from the payout you receive.Fortis fees:
Card: 3.00% + $0.30
ACH: 0.30% + $0.25

After you submit the form:
If you already use Chronicle Pro, our Support team will contact you to start the setup with Worldpay or Fortis. You’ll be asked for basic business details so the payment partner can complete its verification.
If you’re not a Chronicle user yet, our Sales team will explain your next steps. Online payments are activated once you move to Chronicle Pro.
