I am really dorking out with Twitter now. One of my highlights of the weekend was that Bianca Kajlich (she’s on Rules of Engagement and I have a slight girl-crush on her) replied to one of my tweets! Even though I was correcting her, haha.

What kind of bizarro universe is this when Randy Jackson is the only voice of reason on Idol?

So last night I was bored and started looking through old posts when I first started LJ… 10 years ago!!!!! I can’t believe it’s been that long. I also can’t believe how annoying some of my posts were… I had days when I posted 9 times a day! It’s just funny to see how much has changed since then. And also how much I drank, lol.

Right now I have a two week trial of the paid account... why do I have a feeling it will be enough to get me sucked in and go back to paid? I hate the ads and missed all of my old icons.

I'm still unsure about this season of Idol. The guys I thought I was going to love tonight were eh, and some of the guys I don't like were really good! It's hard to make any decisions until you see the top 12 together.

So weird how today was just like yesterday - like 70* and not a cloud in the sky, and now all of a sudden tonight we got this crazy thunderstorm! I hope it stops soon bc I want to watch the Jets game, and it's def going to be over WAY past my bed time now.

I ate 3 apple turnovers tonight. So not necessary. They were the Pillsbury ones and right out of the oven = ohh so good.

I've randomly been taking pics of Duncan for like the past two months and when I took the pumpkin picking pics off my camera I realized there were a few cute ones so I figured I'd share.

One of the aides at work is nominated for a national award and everyone is supposed to go online to vote for him. They have a little blurb about each nominee to explain why they should win.

This one was my favorite: "blah blah blah…When a consumer had an uncharacteristic “accident” in public, Brandon took him to the bathroom and gave him his pants – spending the rest of the day in his boxers and sparing the individual from ridicule.” Hahah ummm hello inappropriate?!?!

In other news, I think this headline is awesomely misleading: "NYC cyclist killed after she's hit by car door."

When you go to actually read the story, this is the first line: “Police say a woman biking in Brooklyn was hit by a car door and propelled into the path of a city bus that killed her.”

Annnd this is why I don't normally update every day. haha

I forgot about this - I've been cracking up over it all day!

My sister was at some hole in the wall bar in the city last night and Kiefer Sutherland was there, completely drunk out of his mind.

He even tried convincing her to go home with him, even saying that he could tell the guy she was with was "an asshole, you can tell by his shoes!" :lol:

I HOPE I'm just over-reacting but I'm so scared of losing this! Does anyone know how to back up their journal?? I have 8 years of posts to save bc I'm a giant loser.

I mean I'm sure they'd have to give us some notice but who knows.

About to go to Job #2 in a few... when it's over around 8 I'm heading to the apartment to hopefully FINALLY finish most of the cleaning. I could be there a while, so no bar for me. A little sad but I'd rather not fight the crowds.

But I just wanted to remind everyone to look for my cousin's band Push Play in the Macy's Thanksgiving parade! I think they're supposed be on on the Pirates of the Carribean float sometime in the 10 o'clock hour. :-)
