Who can apply
Experienced physician whose current responsibilities include significant work in interventional (catheter-based) treatment of congenital heart disease.
Becoming a PICS Society Fellow is our profession’s highest mark of distinction. The FPICS designation after your name and the FPICS certificate recognizes those who show deep experience in the field of minimally invasive treatment of congenital heart disease.
Eligibility
One years’ experience following completion of training plus at least 100 interventional procedures as 1st operator post-training. If you have less than one years’ experience as first operator, apply as a “Member” (see below) then advise us once you meet the experience milestone. Applications from highly experienced/senior non-interventionalists (e.g., surgery, imaging, nursing, etc.) who work directly with interventionalists will also be considered by the Membership Committee.

Who can apply
Interventionalists who have completed formal training BUT have not yet completed one year in practice and performed fewer than 100 interventions post-training.

Who can apply
Nurses, technologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advance practice providers, other allied health professionals
Eligibility
Those whose duties relate to minimally invasive treatment of CHD (e.g., pre-procedure tests/prep, cath lab, post-procedure, teaching, clinic, etc.): apply for Member NAHP

Fellow-in-Training
Who can apply
Early career physician who is currently in either a CHD interventional fellowship program OR a pediatric (or congenital) heart disease training program that includes significant training in interventional treatment of those conditions.
Eligibility
If you are in (or have been accepted into) a CHD interventional fellowship program OR a program that includes significant interventional training , your membership will be FREE during training.
