Membership Levels
Below you will find the various membership levels available to join CFCA. Please select the membership that suits your company or organisation. You can also undertake renewal of your membership here.
Corporate Carrier – Communications
Corporations and other business entities whose business is directly related to the communications industry, providing services. Or some combination of information and media services, content, entertainment and application services over networks, leveraging the network infrastructure. This include the following categories:
- Wireless Carrier/Network Operator
- Fixed Line Carrier/Network Operator
- Inter-Exchange Carrier (IXC)
- Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC)
- International Carrier/Network Operator
- Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC)
- Operator service providers
- International voice and data carriers
- Private pay phone industry
- Private network companies
- Resellers
- ISPs
- Enhanced Service Providers (ESPs/Value Added (VANs)
- Companies whose principal business is directly related to the communications industry
Corporate Carrier – Cross Industry
Corporations and other business entities whose business is not directly related to the communications industry but want to collaborate with the communications industry on subjects related to fraud control, risk management, cybersecurity and/or compliance. This includes
- Banks
- Retail
- Insurance
- Financial Services
Corporate Carrier members select an individual as the Corporate Carrier Designate. This individual must have primary or secondary responsibility for the detection prevention and/or investigation, apprehension, and prosecution of fraud offenders or responsible for Risk Management/Revenue Assurance. The designate and individual members have full electoral rights and privileges of the Association.
Other employees of the same company who meet the same criteria as the designate are eligible to join as part of a Corporate Carrier multi-membership. These members have the same privileges as the Corporate Carrier Designate with full electoral rights and privileges.
Corporate Carrier - Communications L (>500)
Multi-Member - Designate Unlimited employees
Corporate Carrier - Communications M (<500)
Multi-Member - Designate 1-500 employees
Corporate Carrier – Cross Industry
Corporations and other business entities whose business is not directly related to the communications industry but want to collaborate with the communications industry on subjects related to fraud control, risk management, cybersecurity and/or compliance.
- Banks
- Retail
- Insurance
- Financial Services
Corporate Carrier members select an individual as the Corporate Carrier Designate. Corporate Carrier - Cross Industry
Multi-Member - Designate Unlimited employees
Corporate Industry
Companies and individuals providing complementary services and technology to Communication Service Providers (CSPs) including Business and Operational Support Systems (BSS/OSS) providers, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to support the fight against fraud.
For companies in any of these categories:
- Owners of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE, PBX/PABX, etc.)
- Data transmission companies
- End-user company: A company that uses communications services, i.e., retail and manufacturing industries, hospitals, financial institutions, universities, hotels, etc.
- Industry vendors and consultants
- Risk Management vendors
- Fraud Management Vendors
- Revenue Assurance Vendors
- Insurance Providers
- Billing Providers
- etc.
Corporate Industry members select an individual as the Corporate Industry Designate. This individual must be directly involved with primary or secondary responsibility for the areas of communications systems/fraud in relation to the company. The designate and individual members have full electoral rights and privileges of the Association.
Retired Members/Individual Consultants
Retired Members – Current members who are retiring from the profession are eligible to transfer into this category. Consultant – Consultants that work as individuals with a legitimate business that offers services of the Corporate industry criteria. They have no electoral rights but are extended all other privileges.
Law Enforcement/Government
Law Enforcement – agents, police officers, prosecutors, and related government agents, worldwide; federal, state or local. Regulatory – government employees of telecom regulators worldwide
These members have electoral privileges only for the purpose of electing a Law Enforcement/Regulatory Member Director on the Board of Directors. Members may participate in all other activities of the Association.
Notice Membership applications (except for retired members) using personal email addresses will not be accepted and membership will be declined. Membership inquiries and membership applications will only be entertained with a legitimate business email address. Thank you.
