Pet therapy uses the human-animal bond to support emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Certified therapy animals and their handlers provide comfort and connection in settings where people need it most. Pets provide a non-judgmental presence and produce oxytocin and other feel-good hormones. Calming interactions with a therapy pet reduce anxiety, improve mood, lower blood pressure, and enhance motivation for physical or emotional well-being. Sometimes, the simplest connection makes the biggest difference!

Our pet therapy teams volunteer to provide healing comfort to people in various places. Unlike service animals, therapy pets are only allowed entry into sites that have arrangements with the therapy organization.
