So there's been a legit reason I fell off the bandwagon. My car started smoking Thursday after work and I knew I needed maintenance so I decided not to drive it until my friend Marcus could check it out. Anywhoo he couldn't look at it until Saturday. On top of that Chase has been staying with me and we were fatties so there's no point in working out. He leaves today so it's back to 5x weekly workouts! Plus add the diet strictness and I should be dropping inches in no time! Ttyl

Today was the weigh in for week 3. I didn't gain or lose a pound. Which could be OK. I have been doing strength training so it could be muscle building in place of the fat. Like I said, my goal weight is 156. It will take over a year to happen and when it does, I'll have a lot of muscle in place of fat, which prevents fat from coming back. I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!

I'm still upset...I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. It's OK though. I told myself that I will begin a stricter diet is I did not see any results this week. So the diet will be next on the agenda to TEAM SKINNY =) I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!

So I took yesterday off from exercising. I spent the day with brother and his ex-gf Melanie. So we went to the beach, and I swam a bit, but I was there to get some sun. Today I worked legs, the gym was slammed so I didn't get the opportunity to work my butt and the second of my abs workout. Oh well. Then I went and ran 2 miles. I was suppose to do 3 but my legs were sore. I don't want to kill them and I'm enjoying running so I want to take it slow and not hurt my legs. I will not be doing my half-marathon BUT I will be doing my 5K. So excited =) Anywhoo, I'm watching the Olympics. Tomorrow I'll be working hard again! BYE BYE

Tomorrow I'm anxious to weigh in. I hope to have lost another pound at least. I've worked hard this week and I hope my diet isn't burdening me from losing pounds. Tomorrow will be a breaking point. If I have no results I will cut back on the eating as well.

I'm happy I have this LJ to write in. It helps me get out of my worries and express my triumphs. TTYL.

I just finished my 2 mile recovery walk for a grand total of 9.5 miles done this week :) Goal accomplished for my marathon training week 1. So excited to be working out and being healthy. My legs feel good :) Not sore from yesterday's long run. The key is to stench afterwards. Next week starts 5-day running training. I CAN DO IT! I am a little nervous. TTYL.

Didn't make it to the gym yesterday. I felt guilty but I had a amazing day with my family :) So I'm happy I got time with them. Today I went early because I knew I had to do a 3-mile run/walk. I worked my legs today and did well, meaning I pushed myself. I was sweating and out of breath by the end. I jumped right on the treadmill and went to town doing 2/1 intervals. That lasted about 11 mins and then I went at a pace I felt comfortable with. I finished in 42:55 so I'm happy. I'm not in bad shape like Wednesday when I was really sore. Tomorrow will be a easy day because I have a 2-mile recovery walk. Also going tomorrow will give me day 5 which is my goal of exercising 5 days a week. I can't wait until weigh-in on Tuesday! I need to make better choices eating wise. All will be accomplished with hard work :) Just resting before work. TTLY

Feeling good today. The soreness is gone and my shins are at a level 2 pain. Very minimal. I love it. I'm glad that my shins are not in a lot of pain. Today I am going to focus on strength training my legs and core. No running today. I'll do my cardio on the elliptical. So yea! Feeling a lot more positive than I did last night after that run. I was so sore and not feeling it! Talk to you later :)

OMG I don't know how runners do it. My legs (shins) are killing me. I did 2.4 miles today when I was suppose to do 2.5 so not to bad. I didn't even check before doing it but that's OK. I didn't go to the gym because I had a busy day so I told myself to take the day off. BUT when I got home from my AMAZING dinner I changed into workout gear, walked the pups and ran 2.4miles. OMG I check the Color Run page everyday because it's so COOL! I will sign up this weekend. SO EXCITED! I'll be in such better shape come October 21st. It's going to be one of the best experiences of my life. I'm still not sure about Team in Training. It's a lot of money to come up with. I don't know a ton of people so sponsorship is going to be tough. We'll see, I'm still going to the meeting next week. Tomorrow I don't know when I'm going to get to the gym. Probably after the photo shoot with Rach and Chase. I can probably convince Rachel to go with me =) She needs all the motivation she can get! I want her to get healthy. I worry about her. If she has someone to push her I know she can do it! Anywhoo, my legs are sore. Tomorrow I'll do a rest day from the running. I'll pick up again on Friday with a 3 mile run!!!! UH That's going to suck lol. I CAN DO IT! I'm off to bed to rest these dogs. Chow =)

I'm at the gym on a break. Just finished my first day of marathon training. OMG I'm dead. Today was 2 miles with 2 run / 1 min walk. I did that for about 5 mins and then I went to 1/1. It was a lot harder than I thought. It took 27:55 to complete. So now I know and have a place to improve. I'm drenched in sweat. I'm kind of dizzy so I think I'm not going to do another 30 mins. of cardio. That was the plan but I'm tired today. Not very motivated. BUT at least I did my workout for the day. So yea. I'm ready to go home and hit the showers.

EDIT: Weighed myself on the way out. Down 1lb! Congrats Cassie! 37 more to go until my goal weight! I'm happy to see some sort of result because I took a picture and it was the same old Cassie lol. This makes me happy and want to work harder :)

So today was suppose to be my first day training for the marathon. BUT Brittany decided to show up and workout with me so I got sucked into doing a class instead of my 2-mile run/walk. It's good because I still got my cardio workout in. My arms are dead. I won't be working these out for a few days now. Anywhoo, tomorrow I'll start my training!!! I also found an awesome 5K called the 'Color Run'. It's October 21st in Miami. I can't wait. Watching a movie so I'll update later
