For over a week I've been trying to turn my younger sister into a 55 year old. Even after figuring out it won't happen until next year, I was still hooked on 55.
I bought a Hallmark card for a friend whose birthday I knew was coming up at the end of June. I might have searched my pocketbook for a scrap of paper with her address on it if I had had any stamps with me.
Today being Sunday no Post Office service so I put E-mailing another friend {#2} about things I forgot to mention when we had dinner two nights ago on top of to do list. Then I was going to drive a half an hour to the B&N where she's working this afternoon and buy a DVD of the 25th Anniversary PotO Concert that was ordered for me. This would allow me to see her again, get the DVD, and make best use my time for the next week.
However once I got online I checked friend #1 LJ and found Its her birthday - - - -
Interruption by phone call from B&N - 3rd message that my DVD is in.
Took a few minutes to chat with my friend {#2 above} and make another
cup of coffee and see I still had 1/3 of my breakfast to eat. - - --
and she is 55 today. It's also her Fifth Wedding Anniversary.
Happy Birthday to starmalachite

I don't have any icons to WOW you with, just Mountain from VT. (but have liked a lot of yours Star)
I will be mailing the card to the another word for porch address that I have.
Once got online spent time with Vintage Adds and death of Ray Bradbury, which I had missed, that there is now no time to go to DE and get the DVD before my friend leaves the store.
C oops S, one of my grandparents is buried in same cemetery as Lloyd Alexander.
Coffee spillage, not yet on laptop, but on parent's side table from early 1950s. I seem to have the corner pretty well proctected now from minor The-Mug-Is-Fuller-Than-I-Thought-Slops-O
ver-The-Top spills.

I'm still new to LJ so after posting this checked my LJ email and found a reminder for my birthday and starmalachites. Check e-mails more often.
