CAR 2026 Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require changes to your plans. Please review our cancellation and refund policy below:
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to cassidy@canplaninc.ca.
Refund Deadlines and Fees:
- Up to March 16, 2026: Full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.
- Between March 16, 2026 and March 31, 2026: 50% refund.
- After March 31, 2026: No refunds will be issued.
No-Show Policy:
- No refunds will be provided for no-shows.
Transfer of Registration
- If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual by notifying us in writing at least 14 days before the event. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing via email to cassidy@canplaninc.ca.
Event Cancellation
If, at any time, it is determined that the event will not take place in-person in April 2026 due to government-implemented health guidelines, participants will have the option to receive a full refund. No liability is assumed by the CAR for changes in program date, content, speakers or venue. The CAR reserves the right to cancel this event, if deemed necessary, and will not be responsible for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants.
Accreditation and Designation Statements
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Canadian Association of Radiologists. The CAR 2026 scientific program is approved for a maximum of 12.75 credits (Section 1, Group Learning).
CAR 2026 incudes an Accredited Breakfast Session (Section 1) approved for a maximum of 0.75 credits, under Section 1 (Group Learning) as defined MOC program of the Royal College and approved by the CAR.
CAR 2026 also features two accredited symposia, each approved for a maximum of 1.0 credits, under Section 1 (Group Learning) as defined MOC program of the Royal College and approved by the CAR.
AMA Accreditation Statement
Through an agreement between the Royal College and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA credits can be found at here.
UEMS-EACCME Accreditation Statement
Live educational activities recognized by the Royal College as Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) are deemed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) eligible for ECMEC.
