It gives us great pride to welcome you to the Department of Business Administration under the Faculty of Business Studies. The faculty gained immeasurable experience since its establishment in 2003.
The prime goal of the faculty is to provide education on basic business knowledge, management development skill, specialized business education and in current business environment. We offer courses lower order to higher order level.
The Faculty of Business Studies has been offering courses in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). The department offers Accounting, MIS, Marketing, Finance, HRM, Management majors in BBA program and majors in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, HRM, and MIS in MBA & EMBA program.
There are 25 faculty members in the department. Of them, 18 (eighteen) faculty members work full time and 7 (seven) Adjunct faculty members are coming from well reputed public university and industry sectors.
The university has been recognized as one of the leading universities in the private sector of the country. We are proud of our programs, which we believe as solid but modern, strong but reputed, rigorous but practiced as useful. We are constantly striving to uphold our reputation of academic excellence in learning, research and community services. Our programs, prepare graduates for responsible roles within a variety of organizational settings. Our graduates are well organized to continue their higher studies in any world class Business School located at home and abroad.
The Department of Business Administration is committed to create ethically driven and socially responsive business leaders through academic excellence. Our graduates are being well placed in different business sectors. A sizable number of our graduates are working such as: US-Bangla Airlines, IDLC, Burger Paint, Pran-RFL, Brac Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, EBL, Solar land Broadband, LE Meridian, Co-Ca Cola, New Vision Group, Green Firm, Desh TV and SA TV.
