Clapper says spying on Trump ‘A Legitimate Activity’

Talk about having to chew on leather. The CNN interview with Clapper is almost more than one can bear. So spying is now called patriotic? You jest Clapper. The unbelievable is that there are those who are drinking the Kool-Aid. I conclude with the clip, but first let me connect the dots of payments made to spy Halpern:

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper says President Trump’s call for the Justice Department to find out if the FBI spied on his campaign is “not good for the country.”

Cuomo asked why the bureau did not come to the campaign openly, instead of monitoring it in secret.

“This is one of many techniques you can use” to determine whether there being foreign interference in the election, Clapper replied.“

In fact, we ought to think of it as part of the effort of the FBI to keep the nation safe and secure and protect our voting process,” he said later. More at Daily Caller

Now let’s connect the dots:

Page and Halper first met at an election-themed symposium held at Cambridge on July 11 and 12, 2016, several days after Page’s now-infamous speech at the New Economic School in Moscow.

Halper approached Page on the sidelines of the event, and the pair struck up what Page thought to be a friendship. Page told TheDCNF that he stayed in touch with Halper for 14 months, through September 2017.

The FBI and the Justice Department relied heavily on the unverified dossier to obtain Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants against Page. The first surveillance warrant was granted on Oct. 21, 2016.

They were renewed in January, early April and late June 2017.The fourth and final spy warrant against Page expired in Sept. 2017, the same month Page and Halper fell out of contact.

Obama’s plant in Trump campaign? A Bill Clinton classmate and administration advisor

Sure looks like we know who was the spy in the Trump campaign. Better yet, that old Clinton name bounces forward. Is there anything that the Clintons don’t have their long dirty fingers in? How many people do they corrupt? I suggest an older post of mine first:

McCabe is only the beginning. Before this is over, no doubt there will be dozens who were lured by the corrupters and if lucky will only lose their reputation if not spend years behind bars.

Yet there’s another dimension to their chronic crookedness, and it gets insufficient attention even though it might be more important to the nation’s well-being.

“Wherever they go, whatever they do, ethics are trashed and suspicions of criminal conduct follow them like night follows day.”

It is that, in addition to being personally corrupt, the Clintons are corrupters. They are piggish users, with the people and institutions around them inevitably tarnished and sometimes destroyed even as the Clintons escape to their next scam.

This past weekend we reported that Internet sleuths determined who the Obama FBI spy was in the Trump campaign.  Now we know he was a classmate of Bill Clinton’s and an advisor to the Clinton Administration!

Jeff Carlson at theMarketswork on last Thursday identified an individual by the name of Stefan Halper as a potential FBI spy into the Trump campaign. (Note that some believe that Obama may have had more than one spy on the Trump campaign).

Carlson determined that George Papadopoulos, the lower level campaign worker for the Trump campaign, appears to have been targeted by three individuals with ties to British and/or U.S. Intelligence: Joseph Mifsud, Alexander Downer and Stefan Halper.

Mifsud and Papadopoulos obtained positions at an organization named the Centre for International Energy and Natural Resources Law & Security. Papadopoulos was a nobody and the Centre sketchy at best. Mifsud vanished in early November 2017, shortly after Papadopoulos was in the news and indicted. His whereabouts are still unknown.

Other sites (Conservative Treehouse) have also pegged Halper as the spy inside the Trump campaign and now it is old news. (Some great work over there)

Today additional research now shows that Halper was a classmate of impeached President Bill Clinton.  Halper apparently knew Bill Clinton well in their days at Oxford.

And ever more research shows that Halper later worked as an Advisor to the Clinton Administration during Clinton’s two terms in office. 

From 1984-2001, Halper was Senior Advisor to the Department of Defense and a Senior Advisor to the Department of Justice.  President Clinton was President from 1993 to 2000 (including after his impeachment).

President Nixon resigned after his team was caught spying on the Democrats at their Watergate Headquarters during the 1972 campaign.

The Obama team and the Clinton campaign spied on the Trump Administration and used the entire government apparatus, including the CIA, FBI, the DOJ and others, to do so.

This is clearly 100 times worse than Watergate! Drain the swamp!

New Strzok message drop discuss evasion of message archiving

Tick tock, we are all at the ready for the Memo drop today. The Dems are apoplectic about it and have done their best to muddy the waters about the content. Let us not forget the other members in this drama play. Their story is rising to the surface and getting buried under the avalanche of the memo drop. These two lovebirds must be sweating big time bullets.

 

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page discussed getting new Apple iPhones, in lieu of their Samsung 5 government issued phones in text messages they exchanged in August 2016. They noted in the texts that the new phones would help keep their text messages from government collection after speaking with the FBI’s IT director, according to newly released August 2016 text messages.

Here’s a portion of the text messages:

Strzok: “Hot damn. I’m happy to pilot that…we get around our security/monitoring issues?”

Page: “No, he’s proposing that we just stop following them. Apparently, the requirement to capture texts came from omb, but we’re the only org (I’m told) who is following that rule. His point is, if no one else is doing it why should we.”

Page: Helps that Dd had a terrible time with his phone [redacted] which made him concerned for our folks all over the place.

Page: These phones suck as much as they do because of the program we use to capture texts, full stop.

Strzok: No doubt.

Strzok: I’m not convinced short of OPR, that text capture capability really deters anything.

Strzok: If I want to copy/take classified, I’m sure as hell not going to do it on this phone.

In the above text messages, Strzok’s reference to “Dd” is possibly referring to Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, per Johnson’s letter’s footnote.
