Trump Lead Continues to Rise Over Biden, Mika Brzezinski Goes Haywire

Teflon seems to be the operative word for Trump these days. Mika goes haywire over the latest poll numbers as his lead continues to rise. Michigan? He is up 10 points over Biden.

The more the Dems go after him the bigger the lead.

WND picks it up:

Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden by a whopping 10 points in Michigan, a state Biden won in 2020, according to a Monday poll.

Trump leads Biden by 10 points among registered voters in Michigan and by 5 points in Georgia, according to a CNN/SSRS poll. Majorities of registered voters in both the swing states hold negative views of Biden’s job performance, policies and mental acuity ahead of a potential 2024 rematch with Trump.

The former president won both states in 2016 against Hillary Clinton, but lost Michigan and Georgia to Biden in 2020 by 2.8 and 0.3 points, respectively.

Trump received a significant amount of support from voters who said they didn’t cast a ballot in 2020, with the former president leading Biden by 26 points among that electorate in Georgia and 40 points in Michigan, according to the survey. Those who said they voted in 2020 favor Trump over Biden for 2024, with the former president losing more support from his backers last cycle.

Only 35% of voters in Michigan approve of Biden’s job performance, with 39% saying the same in Georgia, according to the poll. Majorities in both states said Biden doesn’t have the policies they’re looking for in a president, and 69% of voters in Michigan and 66% in Georgia held negative views of the president’s sharpness and stamina.

Regardless of Trump and all his flaws, I would love to see a day of retribution for the evilness of the Democrats.

Iowa House Seat Goes GOP First Time in 46 Years!

A portent of things to come? A Special Election held in Iowa for a Iowa House seat gave a huge win for the GOP. 2820 to 1890 votes for the win. The Seat went 59/41 Dem in 2018 cycle. Dems had held it for decades. Not shabby at all.

Meanwhile our friends at CNN are beside themselves with the Trump rally over the weekend in Iowa. No wonder.

Congrats to Jon Dunwell!

Iowa Capitol Dispatch:

Republican Jon Dunwell won a special election to the Iowa House on Tuesday, flipping a seat from blue to red ahead of the 2022 session.

Dunwell is a pastor and financial professional from Newton. He will replace Rep. Wes Breckenridge, a Democrat, as the representative for House District 29, which includes Newton, Colfax, Prairie City, Kellogg, Mingo, Baxter and surrounding rural areas.

Dunwell won Tuesday’s special election with 60% of the vote, according to unofficial results published by the Iowa Secretary of State. Democratic opponent Steve Mullan, a Newton City Council member and retired teacher, lost the election by nearly 1,000 votes.

CNN:

While Donald Trump has held several rallies since the January 6 Capitol insurrection, his rally in Iowa Saturday was the most alarming by far.

Clip….

You don’t need to be a historian to recognize the danger in a political party showing blind loyalty to one person. These GOP elected officials just several months ago rightly criticized Trump and his role in the false election claims that led to the January 6 attack. With their presence at his rally this weekend, it seems they’ve now changed their tune.

Perhaps they now agree with Trump’s lies. But it’s more likely their flip-flop comes from recent polls showing that 91% of Republicans in Iowa view Trump favorably.

That, and not wanting to face the wrath of Trump, like Georgia Gov. Kemp, Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney and other Republicans who have dared to speak truthfully about the election.

But who knows what Trump whim will be the next litmus test for remaining in his good graces?

When even Grassley, Iowa’s longest-serving US senator, thinks it’s “smart” politics to no longer criticize
Trump for his un-American attack on our democracy and instead praise him in a pursuit of an eighth term in the Senate, it’s clear that the party is no longer defined by policy ideas but by absolute loyalty to Trump and his influence.

To put it bluntly, today’s GOP is how democracies die.

It sure looks like democracy is live and well in Iowa!

Hillary Clinton wins six coin tosses for Iowa delegates

This is what we have come to. A coin toss for the old gal. Amazing, six tosses in a row went to Hillary. 90 precincts are missing. You might just might want to take a look at this: Sanders worried about Microsoft’s Apps involvement in Iowa caucus with good reason. But I digress. Here we go:

Letting chance decide, even in a small way, who becomes president sounds bizarre, but it didn’t just happen eight years ago. It happened Monday night in at least a handful of Iowa precincts where Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), now locked in what Sanders called a “virtual tie” in the state, fought to a deadlock. And, in at least six of those precincts, Clinton won spare delegates, based on reporting from the Des Moines Register and video posted to social media.

In another race, those heads-or-tails contests may not have mattered. But, early Tuesday, Clinton was ahead of Sanders in Iowa by just five “state delegate equivalents,” by that state’s particular jargon. Given that slim margin and the unknown intentions of Martin O’Malley’s eight state delegate equivalents now that the former Maryland governor has suspended his presidential campaign, those coin flips are looking mighty significant.

Sanders worried about Microsoft’s Apps involvement in Iowa caucus with good reason

Yesterday’s Drudge headline screamed that Bernie Sanders was worried about Microsoft’s involvement in the Iowa caucus. With reasons that the MSM has blown off. So first Bernie Sanders alarm bell, then let me drift back to earlier posts where we learn that Scytl’s servers reside in Spain. A foreign company owns election software. That the goal is digital elections world wide. Microsoft is doing this for free. Gee when did Allen get so interested in elections? Here we go:

As the Iowa Caucuses approach, Microsoft has partnered with the Republican and Democratic parties in the state to create apps for tabulating results. But the Bernie Sanders campaign is questioning why, exactly, the company is involved at all.

“You’d have to ask yourself why they’d want to give something like that away for free,” Pete D’Alessandro, who’s heading Sanders’ Iowa campaign, said in an interview with MSNBC.

He clarified that the issue was not with the Iowa Democratic Party as a whole, but with Microsoft’s involvement specifically. MSNBC also reported that other Sanders aides have raised concerns about Microsoft employees donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to Clinton over the years.

Microsoft’s Allen , Foreign Scytl election software, and Obama -what could go wrong?and another post that may be of interest:Foreign Company owns U.S. election software, Holder’s Ballot least of our worries

Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, a supporter of President Obama, is investing $40 million in Scytl, the Spain-based firm that in January 2012 acquired 100 percent of SOE Software, the leading software provider of election management solutions in the United States.

Allen made the investment via his Vulcan Capital, the investment management firm that oversees his multi-billion dollar portfolio.

Abhishek Agrawal, Vulcan Capital’s managing director, told the Wall Street Journal’s blog he expects countries to eventually become comfortable with digital-only elections.

“This is a very powerful global trend,” Agrawal added. “There is a pathway toward gradual modernization.”

The supposedly “nonpartisan” Urban Institute’s employees have a record of donating nearly 100 percent of their political contributions to Democrats. Officially, the Urban Institute advocates for socialized medicine, carbon taxes and amnesty for illegal aliens.

Scytl, meanwhile, is advancing worldwide. WND reported yesterday an entire municipality in Canada will utilize online-only voting in the next election, with all balloting to be run via Scytl.

WND reported in 2012 that Scytl announced the successful implementation of technology that allows ballots to be cast using Google and Apple smartphones and tablet computers

Foreign company owns U.S. election software-UPDATE

“Obama donor’s company funds controversial election firm” reads the headline. We now are turning over our election software to a foreign company that happens to support Obama. The Drudge Report yesterday ran a feature titled “Foreign company buys U.S. election results reporting firm.” The article documented that SCYTL, based in Barcelona, acquired 100 percent of SOE Software, the leading software provider of election management solutions in the United States. Drudge reports that the  best part is that the election results are redirected not to a USA server, but to a server overseas.

UPDATE:Save American Foundation:

Why is a software company based in Barcelona Spain(SCYTL) now in charge of counting our votes in the upcoming General Election on November 6th.  Did the Federal Elections Commission approve of this ?  (FEC) Did the Congress of the United States approve of this ?

The firm already provides balloting for overseas U.S. military and civilian voting in nine states along with elections technologies in several districts

With the purchase of SOE Software, meanwhile, SCYTL has increased its involvement in the U.S. elections process. SOE Software boasts a strong U.S. presence, providing results in over 900 jurisdictions.

In 2009, SCYTL formally registered with the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (AEC) as the first Internet voting manufacturer in the U.S. under the EAC Voting System Testing and Certification Program.

Project Vote noted that in 2008, the Florida Department of State commissioned a review of SCYTL’s remote voting software and concluded, in part, that:

  • The system is vulnerable to attack from insiders.
  • In a worst case scenario, the software could lead to (1) voters being unable to cast votes; (2) an election that does not accurately reflect the will of the voters; and (3) possible disclosure of confidential information, such as the votes cast by individual voters.
  • The system may be subject to attacks that could compromise the integrity of the votes cast.

Tom Harkin warns of the dangers of ‘siren’ Joni Ernst!

Had any GOPer said anything like this it would be front page in your face news with the candidate headed for the trash bin of any career. After all, it is only the GOP that are the knuckle draggers who would force women into having babies and are a threat to the continuation of the specie. So when Harkin, the “old white man” said this, I had to pass it along.

America’s Watchtower brings us this. According to a recent poll Joni Ernst has taken a seven point lead in her race against Bruce Braley to become the next Senator from Iowa.

Outgoing Democratic Senator Tom Harkin apparently has a theory about why she is doing so well as the campaign reaches its conclusion–she is attractive–and he had a warning for the voters of Iowa.

Here is what he had to say:

“In this Senate race, I’ve been watching some of these ads,” Harkin said at the Story County Democrats’ annual fall barbecue last week honoring the retiring senator. “And there’s sort of this sense that, ‘Well, I hear so much about Joni Ernst. She is really attractive, and she sounds nice.’”

“Well I gotta to thinking about that. I don’t care if she’s as good looking as Taylor Swift or as nice as Mr. Rogers, but if she votes like Michele Bachmann, she’s wrong for the state of Iowa.”
