We first got news that there was trouble in Gotham City back on September 6. Now the fickle finger of fate of the FBI turns directly on Adams. Earlier
NEW YORK (WABC) — The FBI came to the homes of two of New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ closest aides, sources told ABC News, and subpoenaed the cellphones of at least seven people in the NYPD, including one belonging to Commissioner Edward Caban.
The FBI came to the Hamilton Heights home of First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright and the Hollis, Queens home of Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Phil Banks, where agents asked them to surrender their phones, the sources said.
This was from Bunk back on September:
F.B.I. Raids Homes of 2 of Mayor Adams’ top aides, NYPD phones subpoenaed
Now Eric Adams looks like he is in for a storm of a problem,
The New York Post reports:
NYC Mayor Eric Adams indicted by grand jury in historic federal probe: sources
Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted by a grand jury on charges connected to a federal probe that has shaken his administration, sources told The Post.
The historic indictment of the first sitting mayor of New York City is expected to be unsealed Thursday by US Attorney Damian Williams, according to the sources. The news was first reported by The New York Times.
Adams will surrender to authorities early next week, sources said.
“I always knew that If I stood my ground for New Yorkers that I would be a target—and a target I became,” Mayor Eric Adams said in a statement to The Post. “If I am charged, I am innocent and I will fight this with every ounce of my strength and spirit.”
Details about the exact accusations remained unclear, but are believed to be connected to allegations of the Turkish government illegally funneling money into his mayoral campaign, according to sources.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday that the FBI is now expanding its investigation into possible illegal foreign donations, focusing on Adams’ suspicious connections with at least six foreign countries, including Turkey, Israel, China, Qatar, South Korea, and Uzbekistan.
This revelation follows the July grand jury subpoenas issued to members of Adams’ inner circle and the dramatic November 2022 seizure of his electronic devices by FBI agents.
Investigators are particularly focused on whether the Adams administration was involved in pushing through a new high-rise Turkish consulate in New York despite glaring fire safety concerns.
Then we have NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks announced his retirement, according to a letter obtained by FOX 5 NY. He’s now the fourth high-ranking official to step down from New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ administration in recent weeks. FOX 5 NY’s Lissette Nuñez has the latest.
As I included in my earlier post:
Mayor Eric Adams shows off his diverse administration: “Have you ever seen this much chocolate leading the city of New York??!! This is why they hating on me!” He then compares himself to Jesus for assembling such a non-White team.
Imagine a white mayor saying, “Have you seen this much vanilla leading the city of NY?” While going on to compare himself to Jesus
And that is the very best of the swamp. It’s always about the money it seems.
