As a commercial pilot I can say this is deeply disturbing.
Go digital? Fine go ahead but, give people a choice! Don’t force people to give bio information and breach their rights. Did we learn nothing from Covid. All the forced vaccinations and lockdowns forcing people to give up their rights one event at a time. Where is all this data to be stored? Let’s not forget the Utah Data Storage Facility.
Back in the day Bunk posted dozens of stories about the center. Obama who put spying on Americans on the fast track.
Obama mouthpiece suggested to Judge Forrest that concerns about the president’s detention powers were excessive as American citizens would, after all, have the ability to file a writ of habeas corpus should they be illegally or improperly jailed! “How long does [such a] petition take,” asked Forrest? When Torrance refused to answer, the Judge continued,“Several years, right”? (In Yesterday’s post, Obama seemed to think that ten years might be about right) -prolonged detention. Keep that phrase in mind.
Privacy: The most powerful unaccountable agency in Washington is mining and amassing all your personal financial data. While that’s bad enough, it also isn’t adequately protecting them from hackers and identity thieves.
A just-released inspector general report found that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, is conducting a massive consumer data-mining operation without the security safeguards to protect the sensitive data from cyberattacks.
The CFPB is collecting and stockpiling more than 600 million credit card accounts, along with personal data from millions of mortgage loans, but “has not yet fully implemented a number of privacy control steps and information security practices,” warned CFPB Inspector General Mark Bialek in a 10-page memo to CFPB Director Richard Cordray.
More alarming, the agency is sharing the massive databases with outside contractors and storing sensitive private information on unsecured clouds, making the data extra vulnerable to cyberattacks “from outside governments and organized groups.” More at IBD
Holy Week, the week before Easter, often referred to as “Passion Week” by Moravians, is intended to be a full week of profound reflection, reverence and prayer.
The word passion comes from the noun translation of the verb pascho appearing in the gospels, where Jesus showed “himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs” (Acts 1:3). There, the word passion means “to suffer,” particularly in reference to Christ’s sufferings and death.
Moravians gather every evening of Holy Week to read out loud from a harmony of the gospels, beginning with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and ending with the burial. There are no sermons during Holy Week – just readings and congregational singing. A single hymn verse is sung in response to each passage read from the Bible – but, sometimes – there is silence.
Services held at the Lititz Moravian Church in Pennsylvania are live streamed during Holy Week and can be found with readings and more information HERE
Palm Sunday: The sixth Sunday in Lent is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. Greeted by cheering crowds waving palm branches and proclaiming Him the Messianic King, Jesus made his triumphal entry into Jerusalem riding on a donkey as prophesized in Zechariah 9:9. (Matthew 21:1-11)
L’entrée à Jerusalem – Stephen Sicard (Logos)
Matthew 21:5 – “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”
John 12:13 – So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!”
Matthew 21:10-11 – When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
Let’s see what mischief our fellow earthlings have gotten themselves into this week. Satire, Memes and Mayhem. Nonsense and animals as well. Time to take a break from the madness.

You may have caught U.S. war reports how we are carpet bombing the heck out of Yemen. Just like early Iraq and Afghanistan. The Houthis have another card to play and that is the Saudi oil fields that are in their range. Something to keep in mind. How are things going? Well it is costing big bucks.
News from the front as we go on the offensive.
Yemeni air defenses have shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper drone for the third time within 10 days as daily US airstrikes on Yemen that began on March 15 have failed to deter the Houthis or stop their attacks.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said on Wednesday that Yemeni forces were “able to shoot down an American MQ-9 drone while it was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Al-Jawf Governorate, using a suitable, locally manufactured missile.”
Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin, who has sources in the Pentagon, confirmed that the drone was shot down. “This is the fourth MQ-9 Reaper drone shot down by the Houthis since March 3rd, and the fourth shot down under the Trump administration,” she wrote on X.
..
Griffin recently reported that the US has been bombing Yemen using heavy B-2 bombers deployed to the US base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. “The US military has carried out 25 straight days of bombing, including with B-2 stealth bombers dropping bunker buster bombs, and yet the Houthis continue to fire missiles to shoot these expensive US assets down,” she said on Wednesday.
Saree said the incident marked the 18th American MQ-9 Reaper drone shot down by the Houthis since October 2023. At $30 million per MQ-9, that means $540 million worth of US drones have been lost if the Houthi number is accurate. The New York Times recently reported that the bombing campaign launched by President Trump on March 15 will soon have cost over $1 billion.
The Yemen Army on Wednesday (Apr 9) warned Saudi Arabia not to ‘get involved’ in the US-led attacks on the Houthi rebels. The Houthis hinted at a possible attack on Saudi oil installations, posting images from past strikes on Saudi Aramco, the world’s biggest oil company by market capitalization and production. These installations are within striking distance of the Houthi-led armed forces of Yemen.
Houthis DESTROY U.S. Drone – FATAL MISTAKE… Here is what happens.
When a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot down over the Red Sea by Houthi rebels on March 4th, 2025, it seemed like a tactical win for the Iran-backed militia in Yemen. But what they didn’t realize was that, in its final moments, the drone transmitted critical intelligence directly to nearby U.S. Navy forces—including the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier.
What followed wasn’t a diplomatic warning—it was a full-scale military response. Within the hour, Tomahawk missiles were launched from an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, F/A-18 Super Hornets took off from carriers, and EA-18G Growlers jammed enemy communications.
Tensions are rising as the U.S. shifts from a defensive to an offensive posture in the Middle East. What does this mean for future Navy operations, for U.S.–Iran proxy conflicts, and for the safety of global shipping lanes?
Mary Daly, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco chief who failed to see major red flags at a failed Silicon Valley Bank, was inspired by Marxian economist Gene Wagner, who she said “has mentored me my whole life” opined on the state of interest rates yesterday. Well that certainly is worth a read I thought. Who would have thought she is still out there bouncing around. From an earlier post.
Talk about moral hazards: The lesbian activist protege of Biden Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was more concerned with regulating culture than regulating banks previously. Also a BLM activist.
She is not alone. The Federal Reserve’s mission in the recent past was to become “inclusive” – a euphemism for aka “woke.”
The directors of the Fed banks have been in the spotlight in recent years as the central bank has faced criticism that bank directors lacked racial and gender diversity and were too weighted towards the business and banking community. The Fed has been working on expanding who serves in these roles.
Why is she still floating out there setting monetary policy? Well let’s check out her background.
First yesterday:
Fed’s Daly sees interest rate policy in ‘a good place’
San Francisco Federal Reserve President Mary Daly said Tuesday that she backs the central bank’s wait-and-see approach when it comes to interest rates.
“We’ve got policy in a very good place right now. We’ve cut the interest rate by 100 basis points last year. That puts policy in a good place to stay modestly restrictive, keep inflation coming down, but not so restrictive that the economy is vulnerable,” Daly said during an event at Brigham Young University.
“So with growth good and and policy in a good place, we have built the time and the ability to just tread slowly and tread carefully,” she added. (Source)
Bunks flashback:
Federal Reserve Bank of San Fran Prez Mary Daly turned a blind eye to Silicon Valley Bank. President and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco since October 1, 2018. She serves on the Federal Reserve’s rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee on a rotating basis.
But let us continue with this charade first.
Here is the Cliff Note edition of the woman who is running the shop at the Federal Reserve in San Francisco. .
Mary Daly’s career trajectory: drops out of High School, works at a donut shop, gets GED, goes to college, becomes enamored with leftist prof teaching Marxian economics, becomes San Fran Federal labor researcher, ingratiates herself with Janet Yellen, who keeps promoting her first openly gay Fed/ prez/CEO. Her background is in the study of economic equality.

She tells us everyone can be a Central Banker. Whoopee.

February 2021:
Feb 16 (Reuters) – San Francisco Federal Reserve President Mary Daly on Tuesday pushed back against critics warning low interest rates and government spending could overheat the U.S. economy and spark high inflation.
“I am not thinking that we have unwanted inflation around the corner,” Daly said at a virtual event held by the University of San Francisco. “I don’t think that’s a risk we should think about right now.”
Concerning her overseeing of the bank that failed:
Only ONE member of failed SVB’s board had a career in INVESTMENT BANKING.. The Rest were Obama, Clinton MEGA-DONORS who ‘grieved’ when Trump won including one who went to Shinto shrine ‘to pray’… -Daily Mail
The 12 regional Federal Reserve banks are quasi-private institutions overseen by the Fed in Washington. Their respective boards watch over the banks directly and provide advice on governance as well as local economic intelligence.
Most importantly, these boards also lead the process to select new presidents when there are vacancies, although directors from firms regulated by the Fed are not allowed to participate in that process.
…
The directors of the Fed banks have been in the spotlight in recent years as the central bank has faced criticism that bank directors lacked racial and gender diversity and were too weighted towards the business and banking community. The Fed has been working on expanding who serves in these roles.
Analysis: With record diversity on their boards, Fed bank chiefs see lower chances of policy error
Feb 24, 2023 (Reuters) – A record number of women and minorities hold seats this year on the boards of the Federal Reserve’s 12 regional banks, providing perhaps the most diverse range of input ever as those banks’ presidents – alongside Fed governors in Washington – wrestle with how to slow inflation without tanking the economy.
Fed bank directors generally stay out of the limelight, but many U.S. central bankers view them as a critical resource. Indeed, some argue prospects for a best-case outcome to their policy-tightening campaign are heightened by the advice from such a wide spectrum of voices.
This year, of the 108 spots on the 12 Fed bank boards, 44% are filled by women, and 41% by people of color, a review of the data shows. “I think the probabilities are far higher of achieving that gentle transition, that smoother transition,” San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly told Reuters in an interview. (What possibly could go wrong?)
Daly, her 11 bank president peers and the six current members of the Fed Board face some of the toughest decisions in their central banking careers in the months ahead.
To find it, they’ll be advised by a small army of PhD economists across the Fed system.
Central to getting that information, Fed bank presidents say, are their regular huddles with their boards and panels that until as recently as 2018 had largely been cut from the same cloth: bankers and business leaders, most of them white men.
And at the White House? While the stock markets were in the throes of a meltdown with the bank collapse and panic setting in, and everyone was on the edge of their seat? We were reassured that the best were at the helm,
Sky News nails it. Short sweet and to the point.

The media’s darling, Pennsylvania’s Governor Josh Shapiro makes a surprise move. The media often speculates that Shapiro would have been a much better choice in running against Trump last fall. Whenever his name appears in the press, the prefix usually starts “popular” Josh Shapiro. Now in this eye opening move, he grants big bucks to the fans of Islam, an important decision in his desire to ride the wave to the 2028 Presidential race. What we need in PA is more Muslim schools. Sure. Especially give this money to fund a school in a mosque that is already controversial.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has awarded Philadelphia’s Al-Aqsa Islamic Society a $5 million grant from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, marking the largest grant under the program awarded to a Muslim organization to date.
According to WHYY, Shapiro announced the grant at an iftar dinner on March 25 at the organization, telling a few dozen community members that organizations such as Al-Aqsa “are more important than ever before” as “we’re facing tumult overseas, and we’re facing a lot of rising hate here at home.”
Shapiro said, “So I’m really proud that we’ve been able to work together with your leaders here to invest $5 million in making this place an even greater center of activity in the community.”
Chairman of the board of Al-Aqsa Islamic Society Asif Hussain said that one goal for the funds is to expand the center’s school. The group is looking to add classrooms and teachers to meet local demand, and increase attendance from 300 to 3,000. Source

Pakistani American News:
However, this decision has sparked controversy due to past incidents involving the mosque. In 2020, sermons delivered by guest Imam Abdelmohsen Abouhatab contained antisemitic remarks, referring to Jews as “the vilest of all people” and labeling them “enemies of Allah.” The Al-Aqsa leadership promptly condemned these statements and collaborated with the Anti-Defamation League to address the issue.
Governor Shapiro, who is Jewish, emphasized his commitment to inclusivity and support for the Muslim community during a recent iftar dinner at the mosque. He stated, “I’ve got their back and I’m going to protect them and I’m going to do everything in my power to ensure that their rights are protected here in the commonwealth.”
So before they were against tariffs they were for it…Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Take a look. Now it’s down to a mind game. Who is going to stop the roller coaster and would they just as well tank the United States? Record shorting of stocks now. Either way, soon they will run out of stocks to short and that will be some kind of a trading day as they are caught in the squeeze.
1) 1996 Nancy Pelosi encourages all of Congress to back reciprocal tariffs
2) 2008 Bernie Sanders wants tariffs, says jobs are going overseas
3) 2018 Barack Obama calls for reciprocal tariffs
4) 1988 Donald Trump says foreign countries must pay tariffs
