Famine

Well Susan Boyle sang again this evening. It was a bit of a shaky start, nerves probably got the better of her for a few moments. Personally, I don't think it was as good as her first performance. But she was, for all that, extremely good. She has a perfect voice for stage musicals and even if she goes no further, she must be assured a long career doing what she loves so much.



Edited for update: Susan has won the public vote and goes thru to the final. Great stuff.

I would like to add that the dancing group Diversity are brilliant and are also thru.

I am happy today because I woke up migraine free! (Hope I'm not tempting fate here!!)

I have had a migraine for 4 days but I am happy today that my hubby is so understanding and looks after me even when I burst into tears for no reason!
Now I'm going back to bed!






I'm lucky I have this man!

Today I was happy to be in the garden enjoying the blossom in the gardens either side of mine.

I am a very unhappy lady. I went to the tattooist studio today with my daughter and hubby. I showed the chap a picture of the design I would like and he told me that it would take about two hours ( ouch ) and would cost about £140, roughly $205 ( bigger ouch )!!
There is no way I can justify spending this much money. To be honest I was shocked at the cost. I was expecting to pay about £50-£60! So, it's back to the drawing board and searching the net for something simpler and cheaper. Either that, or I will ask hubby to buy me an ankle bracelet!!
I am really disappointed.

Ah well, never mind.
