98th Academy Awards (Oscars 2026)

Honoring the films released in 2025, the 98th Academy Awards Ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 15, 2026. The ceremony was hosted by Conan O'Brien, directed by Hamish Hamilton, and produced by Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan.

This year, the Academy Award for Best Casting was introduced, marking the first new category since the 74th Academy Awards. Also this year, Sinners set the Oscar Nominations Record with 16 Nominations. Additionally, this marks the first year there has been a tie since the 85th Academy Awards.
