Maker Made 2025
Maker Made is a chance for makers in all mediums to showcase their artistry in a gallery setting. At Boulder Public Library Makerspaces, we know how much time, attention, expertise, and heart go into making something, and we want to celebrate the art of making with our community members. The hope is that items in this year’s Maker Made were either made in the makerspaces or were inspired or helped along by taking a class with us at BLDG 61 or STUDIO 24, but that is not the only consideration. We are also looking for works that pair well with things that other makers have submitted, to know about your process and the things that you learned through making it, and works that speak to the diversity of craft and artistry that our community has to offer.
This year Maker Made will consist of three simultaneous art installations, one of which will be at the Main Library in the gallery space on the Arapahoe ramp at the Main Library, one at Meadows Library, and one at Reynolds Library.
The drop-off dates, exact length of the exhibition, and drop-off requirements vary slightly depending on which location you will be showing in, but you will receive an email detailing specifics if you are accepted.
Submissions are open August 16 – September 30
Applicants will be notified no later than October 8

Artwork drop off for work showing at the Meadows Library: October 28
Opening will take place Saturday, Nov. 15, from 2 – 4 p.m.
