How does our technology work?

Delivery
The mechanism of Gentrafix™ involves the plasmid DNA being delivered to cells of the target organ.

Replicate
There, the plasmid produces components that allows it to replicate, in addition to producing the therapeutic protein to cure the genetic disease.

Spread
Lastly, the plasmid produces a factor to enable it to travel to adjacent cells where the process repeats. We are adapting this for DNA translocation into mitochondria.
