Found this incredible Merlin Modern au. Best thing I've read anywhere in any fandom for a very long time.
It's an epic in the making and still in progress but its well worth the read for the UST and the eventual sex alone.
The research and commitment the author has put into this story blows me away and the characterizations of the Merlin verse's favorites is spot on.
Set in modern times and based within the stricture of the  British army, it didn't appeal to me at first, but I found myself hooked practically in the first paragraph.
A brilliant and convoluted plot combined with an amazingly passionate yet tender love story make's this one of my all time fav picks within any slash fic I've ever read.
