What Our Community Says

These services changed our lives for the better.

The service helped me feel even more confident in my choice to detransition, and the lack of stigma (which is everywhere outside of communities such as this) towards my choice has enabled me to flourish.

Jason, Beyond Trans Member

Providing therapy to people who have been harmed by medical transition is certainly complex and yet it is also satisfying work.

UK therapist

I felt so alone before finding this group. It has been such a struggle because never in a million years would I have guessed that my daughter would identify as anything other than a girl. It came as a complete shock. I did not even realize that this was going on with so many girls. When we first visited a psychologist, I was not prepared for their response at all either. It has been very jarring. It helps immensely to know that others are going through the same thing with similar views to mine. This group is a great source of support.
