I haven’t been here in quite a while. When I looked it said my journal had been deleted. I can’t remember if I did that or if LJ did because it’s been so long.
I did read that someone thought LJ was going away. I hope not as I haven’t figured out how to save all the stories from hp/ss fic works. Guess I should do that just in case.

I got an email today from LJ saying congratulations on being with them for 18 years. God does that make me feel old!
I haven’t ever really written much here but have read tons. So thank you to all you creative people for the great stories and art I’ve viewed over the years. May you all have wonderful days in the years ahead.
It’s amazing that it’s already the middle of April. Since my last post I am now able to actually read LJ with no problem.
The past winter sucked. Our temps were all over the place and for about a month it was in the deep freeze. Daytime highs in negative numbers. Got an email from the gas company that natural gas prices will be taking a big jump because the whole state of Nebraska suffered with the cold. Did have, thankfully only one day for about an hour, where the power was shut off cause power company was being overwhelmed. Glad spring is trying to get here. Was 65 tod but the next week is cold again.
Decided to get the Covid shots. Got second one last week. No problems other than a bit of a sore arm last week.
My allergies are really bad this year so far. Had to switch to a different med as my old reliable wasn’t working anymore. So far new med is working great.
Not much else going on. Waiting for it to warm up enough to put my house plants back outside.
Sigh, wonder if I will still be able to access LJ once the iPad OS has updated. Will just have to wait and see.
Not much else happening around here other than fall creeping up on us. Need to think about getting the house plants in. Need to get some insecticide...hate spiders and they are all full of webs. Oh well, give the cats some extra protein...ugh.

Can’t believe it...evidently the lates update to something has let me load LJ on my iPad. At least I can get caught up on things.
Going to have to see if I can write offline and update now.

Holy crap, it's been over 2 years since I posted anything here. Haven't spent much time on LJ as it won't load on my iPad and I don't very often get on the desktop any more.
This past July has sucked. Had to put both of my pups to sleep. One had cancer and the other one diabetes and congestive heart failure. Now all I have are the 2 cats and they are 10-11 years old themselves. The dog with cancer was mama to them so they are kind of lost. They either smother me or hide. Been thinking about another dog but haven't decided anything yet. Will just have to see how it goes.
Did see a post about LJ mobile being updated. Will need to check it out.

tiredSomeone from Potterplace yahoo group posted that Robert Hardy passed away. He played Cornelius Fudge in the HP movies. I remember him more fondly as Sigfried Farnen from All Creatures Great and Small. Great actor regardless. He will be missed.
