The U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce an open call for proposals from interested individuals and organizations to for its English Language Teaching Program. This program focuses on English language projects for members of the Azerbaijani Internally Displaced Persons communities and other communities outside of Baku in need of additional resources and expertise.

We are pleased to inform that upon the successful application process, the US Embassy Baku has awarded ADA University to launch a new one-year project on “Strengthening Research Capacities and Building International Partnership” aimed at enhancing research potential of the country and building academic partnerships with U.S. Universities. This will be a thrilling opportunity for those who want to improve their research skills and eager to produce high-impact academic or policy papers for the joint publications at various workshops and conferences.

The U.S. Embassy Baku Public Affairs Section (PAS) is pleased to announce its 2022 Alumni Support for Local Communities Fund. This year’s iteration of the program will support alumni-led projects of $10,000 to $30,000 that harness the power of technology to address problems in their home communities.

AEIF provides alumni of U.S. government-sponsored and facilitated exchange programs with funding to expand on skills gained during their exchange experience to design and implement innovative solutions to global challenges facing their community. Since its inception in 2011, AEIF has funded nearly 500 alumni-led projects around the world through a competitive global competition.

The Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators are intensive, post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours whose purpose is to provide foreign secondary educators and administrators with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of U.S. society, culture, values, and institutions. The ultimate goal of the Institutes is to strengthen curricula and to enhance the quality of teaching about the United States at overseas secondary schools and other academic institutions.

Study of the U.S. Institutes for Scholars (SUSIs) are intensive post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours whose purpose is to provide foreign university faculty and other scholars the opportunity to deepen their understanding of U.S. society, culture, values, and institutions. The ultimate goal of the Institutes is to strengthen curricula and to enhance the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions abroad.
