Sandra Fairchild
Chief Executive Officer
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and has led AXIMA Logistics since 2009, steering its growth from Australian roots to a global organisation with a strong presence in Hong Kong, China, and the USA. With a career spanning logistics, finance, and professional services, she brings a wealth of expertise in commercial development, strategic growth, and international supply chain management. Sandra is known for her collaborative leadership style, building teams and client partnerships that consistently deliver results above industry standards. Away from work, she contributes her skills as a long-standing Director of the Norman Beischer Medical Research Foundation.
Mark Bramich
General Manager - Strategic Market Development
Mark combines an impressive postgraduate qualification in Accounting and Financial Management with an extensive 30-year career that spans across sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and international trade. Driven by his passion for organisational success, Mark is recognised for his proactive leadership and hands-on management. He possesses the strategic vision to see the "big picture" and excels in nurturing strategic relationships that yield mutually beneficial outcomes. Off the clock, Mark cherishes the moments he spends with his family, and despite the occasional disappointments, remains an ardent supporter of the Essendon Football Club.
Matt Ward
Chief Operations Officer
Matt holds an Executive MBA from QUT and is the Chief Operations Officer at AXIMA Logistics. With more than two decades of international logistics experience, he has built and led teams across Australia, Asia, the USA, and the UK. Matt is passionate about creating innovative solutions that help clients and supply chain partners achieve growth and resilience in a rapidly evolving industry. Known for his collaborative approach, he sees AXIMA as an extension of each client’s business, ensuring long-term partnerships built on trust, innovation, and results. Outside of work, Matt enjoys family life and takes every chance he can to get out on his motorbike.
Rohan Balram
Senior Business Partner – Global Growth
Rohan holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering while studying overseas and a Masters degree in Logistics and Supply Chain from RMIT. He has held several roles in logistics and freight forwarding over seven years and has been pivotal in the growth and success of AXIMA. He now oversees the support function surrounding the strategic growth strategy of our global freight forwarding business, ensuring all new opportunities are thoroughly explored and for those that are successful, onboarded and in motion. In his spare time, he is an avid Arsenal fan and enjoys a social game of cricket.
Susanna Lo
Managing Director – China & Hong Kong
Susanna holds a Diploma in Economics and brings more than 35 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics. She began her career with the Jardine Group before moving into senior roles at Kerry Logistics and later joining AXIMA in 2006 as the first employee in Hong Kong. Susanna was pivotal in expanding AXIMA’s presence across Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Qingdao, and was appointed Managing Director in 2022. She continues to lead with a focus on operational excellence, client partnerships, and regional growth.
Christine Chao
Station Manager – China
Christine graduated from Shanghai Maritime University and has built a career spanning leading roles with major shipping lines and freight forwarding companies, including CMA CGM Logistics China, where she managed the sea freight department. Since joining AXIMA China in 2010, she has been instrumental in developing and leading our sea freight operations across North and Central China, connecting clients to global markets. Over the past 15 years, Christine has also spearheaded key initiatives such as the 4PL project at Kunshan Warehouse for Australian clients, perfectly aligning her expertise and passion with AXIMA’s growth.
Meena Xue
Account and Operations Manager – China
Meena graduated from the Civil Aviation University of China with a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration. She has been working in the global logistics industry for over 20 years and has acquired extensive expertise in customer service with a focus on ocean and air freight along with supply chain management. Her commitment to continuous improvement and a customer-centric approach has been instrumental in driving an industry-leading experience for our customers. She now oversees operations and account management in China.
