SCHEDULE A VISIT

Please complete this application and send it along with the following items to Augustine Classical Academy, 7 North Main Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118.

• A check for the application fee of $40 (non-refundable if the grade applied for is open or opens; refundable if the grade applied for does not open) made out to “Augustine Classical Academy.”

• Transcript or year-end report cards from the past 3 years and most recent standardized testing results; please use the records release form on the last page of this application as needed.

After completing an application, you will receive an email to schedule your student's shadow day.

This required day is an opportunity for your student to experience the Augustine classroom.

Kindergarten - 2nd: For kindergarten entry, children should be five years old by June 1 for boys and September 1 for girls of the fall in which they enroll. While age can be a helpful indicator of readiness, it is not the sole measure we consider. Each child is evaluated individually, with careful attention to both the needs of the student and the overall classroom community. As part of this process, students complete age-appropriate assessments in reading and math to help us understand their current skills and determine how best to support their transition into school. Any recommended preparatory or remedial work is designed to ensure a strong and confident start.

3rd - 12th: We ask incoming students to complete a standardized assessment (such as the CLT or ISSE). This helps us gain a clearer picture of each student’s academic strengths and areas for growth so we can support them well from the start.

Following review of your child's application and assessments by our admissions committee, you will receive an email notification regarding your child's admission or wait list status.

To retain your child's seat, please follow the enrollment link in your acceptance email to complete the required enrollment paperwork and submit the enrollment fee within one week.
