Atmel WinUSB is a Windows driver package from Atmel that leverages Microsoft’s WinUSB (WinUSB.sys) to enable reliable, user‑mode communication with USB‑enabled Atmel microcontrollers, evaluation boards, debuggers, and programmers. By binding WinUSB to specific device interfaces via INF files, it lets you exchange data with custom USB endpoints without writing a kernel‑mode driver.
