Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using Astroma (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is greater) to use Astroma. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• The birth data and other information you enter should be accurate. Inaccurate data will produce inaccurate charts and insights.
• You may only create profiles for yourself or for people who have given you permission to enter their birth data.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or harm others, or to generate unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content involving minors.
• Attempt to break, probe, or overload the Service, bypass security controls, or scrape data in ways that interfere with normal use.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its generated content without our written permission.
• Use the Service to make automated decisions that materially affect others (e.g. hiring, lending, medical) — Astroma is not designed or appropriate for that.

Astroma's charts, reports, and AI chat responses are provided for entertainment, self-exploration, and personal reflection. They are not professional advice. In particular, nothing in the Service constitutes medical, mental-health, financial, legal, relationship, or other professional advice. Do not rely on Astroma for decisions that should involve a qualified professional.

Parts of the Service use AI models to generate text. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. Please use your own judgment and verify anything important before acting on it.

• The Astroma name, branding, software, and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws.
• You retain ownership of the birth data and content you submit. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to process it as needed to provide the Service to you.
• Reports and AI responses generated for you may be used by you for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial redistribution requires our written permission.

Astroma relies on third-party providers, including authentication (Clerk), AI model providers, and infrastructure vendors. Their terms and privacy practices apply to the parts of the Service they power. We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party services we link to.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that astrological calculations or AI responses will match any specific expectation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astroma and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

You can stop using Astroma at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, misuse the Service, or if we need to for legal, security, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may also update these terms; when we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
